Let me tell you some facts about sambhaji Maharaj
Aurangzeb decided to capture Maharashtra after Shivaji's death, so he came with a massive Mughal army, some historians say that he had 10 lakh soldiers, others say that he had more than 5 lakh.
Because Shivaji is dead, Aurangzeb thought it would be very easy to conquer Maharashtra.
He was unaware of the strength of Sambhaji Maharaj.
Sambhaji was more powerful than his father Shivaji, and he proved it by fighting against Mughals for 9 years
(MARATHA ARMY WAS VERY SMALL IN COMPARISON TO Mughal ARMY)
If you Google about the Mughal-Maratha War you'll find out that the Marathas killed four million Mughals in 27 years.
The terrain of Maharashtra is very tough and the Mughals were unable to fight here.
Sambhaji defeated Mughals repeatedly, and he could not be defeated,
The sambhaji's relative ( GANOJI SHRIKE ) betrayed him and joined the Mughals, who attacked him while he was alone as a result of GANOJI's efforts.And Sambhaji was captured.
As part of his offer, Aurangzeb wanted sambhaji to convert to Islam and hand over the Maratha empire to him, but sambhaji refused.
That's why Sambhaji was brutally killed after 40 days of torture.
However, the MARATHAS fought until Aurangzeb's death and finally defeated the Mughals.
SHAHU WAS CAPTURED when he was a kid but later released by the Mughals.
The Marathas showed their power by entering DELHI to take control of Delhi's throne while the Mughals became the puppets of the Marathas.
The Marathas did not want to be rulers of Delhi. Instead, they acted as kingmakers and made the Mughals their puppets.
Shivaji became Mansabdar to fool the Mughals, he wanted to destroy them, so becoming Mansabdar was one of his strategies. Shivaji always used Chanakya Niti and Krishna niti to beat the enemy
Shivaji killed Afzal Khan, beat Shaista khan with his Niti's
