Endgame Raiding can be the MOST rewarding feeling in the world. It can also make you want to unalive every person you come across in game. Where do you fall on this scale? 😅
I have not done much for current content raiding but I know after the awful 8 runs of e12s (eden) I was ready to end people.
My anxiety could never so I’ll just stick to casual content
I wish more higher content would be focused on for soloing and pvp rather than extremes and savages where you are forced into groups or going unsynced to farm for mounts and gear. I always prefer synced or duty npcs as I feel I am playing the game as intended. There is also more third party assists going on in higher levels, not fair to others, than known (aka a game no no but hushed by players and hard to detect)
This has been my PF experience:
*Joins p10s clear party*
*Party wipes to bonds 2*
*Party disbands after one wipe*
LMAO, i love savage though. It feels good when everyone does every mech right and the fight just flows sooo good
8 Tip: USE YOUR COOLDOWNS!!. Its so frustrating seeing Raidwides or other Hard hitting Mechanics with no Mitigation. I cleared P12s with my Static week 1 and since then struggeling on finding groups on PF for my Alt. I was 7 hours in Partyfinder yesterday for P10 and cant count how often i died to the Raidwide+Bleed because there wasnt any mitigation on it. If youre not Confy as a DPS when to use Addle or Faint start with the Raidwides!! Also do your Healer a Favour and use your Personal Cooldowns. Second Wind,Bloodbath......etc.
Tip 9: Better safe then Sorry. If your in Prog and not confy with the Mechanics then do nothing. Drop your GCD's, Drop your dmg and just learn the Mechanics. The DPS Check this Tier is a Joke so concentrate an play the Mechanic clean even if you have to drop some gcds.
Yeah that's true, im just entered p12s fresh, but all 9to11 was dead before enrage cast, they're so squishy
@@hammsuke3981 we died couple of Times on p12 1&2 Enrage and that was also the first Time we saw the Enrage this Tier. After our Prog we watched our Logs and just realized we killed p9&10 nearly 1 min before Enrage in Week 1 which is insane. They undertuned this Tier really hard. But i think they just wanted to play safe after P8 which was a complete Clusterfu*** in Week 1 before it was nerved.
Good Luck on your prog though. P12 is a really cool Fight. Addphase was a Pain in the Ass during Prog cause no one knows how to solve it. And P2 is also good. I really liked this Tier. Maybe a little bit too much Limit Cuts but overall a good variety of Mechanics....maybe aside of p11 which is literally a Copy&Paste of E11

All good tips. I cannot stress enough the whole “Honesty” one.
Nothing makes me more infuriated in PF than joining a party with a prog point at a given mechanic and then finding out 45 minutes in that others didn’t read the description after we wiped to like 2 or 3 mechanics before the prog point 😡
Be honest… read descriptions. Parties would be much more efficient if people didn’t try to lie their way in or overestimate their abilities.
Huge tip for Tanks - Don't try to make the fight go faster by instant-pulling - Pulltimers for EVERY pull. 16+ if a dancer is on it 10 is enough for most of the other. By not doing that you mess up the other players openers - a messed up opener follows you the whole fight. And due to that, the fight a) can take roughly 30-50 seconds longer as if there would've been a proper pulltimer, also b) massively raises the chances of seeing enrage as general partydamage due to missing most buffs and their timing would be way too low.
also one thing about the video - I loled a bit seeing only Ex6 footage and in the very first seconds directly having a vuln :D
If it's a prog party, 7s to 10s countdown max. You don't need a full countdown for progging, we here to see and do mechanics. Clear party, ya do the full countdown people need for their opener. AST tends to want 20seconds a good AST would want to do the countdown themselves. I've clear every savage tier this expansion in party finder.
chain pulling isn’t about to make the fight go faster, it’s actually not to waste time doing unnecessary opener while progging and actually learn the mechs

I will say you should not need BiS and not everyone can afford crafted gear. So this "go do what Balance tells you to" can wind up excluding more new players if they can't afford the 24 mill gil BiS item. This is typical "thought" process of many, but it's not really helpful to tell people to just do as they are told.
Casual being not in a static, you still have to put in “ounce” of effort to do end game content. It’s not going to be handed to you, and gear is like 200k-400k on the mb a piece. It’s not that difficult to save up and buy or maybe yet craft it yourself .. like it’s just not all going to be easy.. easy does not equate to casual

The thing i hate about prog is prog liars. You opened a pf with "this mech prog", then fresh people joined to trap you.

I have been playing for a couple of years and have never taken the steps to do anything above regular mainly because of horror stories I have heard about treatment from other players and memorization. I am not good with either. I do most of my playing solo. I would love to someday try the higher end stuff. Kudos to those who do. 🤗
