Can't wait for you to see Higher. The concept of it is sirens (like the mythological creature) so the song really focuses on just their vocals, pulling you in with their beautiful voices just like sirens would. The video is so stunning and focuses on how gorgeous they are, so do prepared to be attacked lol. Probably one of my favourite comebacks to date.
If Take Me Higher and Changer are more your style, I *highly* recommend checking out Clover (it doesn't really have an MV but the 360 turntable version is the closest thing to an MV we'll get)
FYI Wow did officially win an award for the best thighs in kpop. I'm really enjoying your deep dive into A.C.E! I feel like you will really like more of their b-side tracks which are less intense. 🙆♀️💕

you can tell the drastic difference in their MV budget from Cactus (and Callin') vs Savage. They really came from very humble beginnings, you can see how simply shot their first 2 MVs were, it was mostly a warehouse space and lots of flashing lights. Now that they've made more of a name for themselves (though they're still very underrated), you can see it in their MVs. Also, whenever you have a chance, you should check out the temporary group Chan was in, UNB. They only have like 3 MVs.

There is a version of Cactus that was on their newest album that replaces the EDM and the sharper electronic sounds by adding like smooth jazz including what I think is saxophone, and it sounds like a different song, but in a good way, I think I like it better than the original even, but I know they chose the version they debuted with because they wanted to show everyone how great they are at dancing
i mean when they debuted all there was to listen to was cactus, cactus english version and cactus remix so it definitely grew on us and it's just so iconic... and callin i would say most of the fandom absolutely loves it, there's just something about it🙏🏻 and im sure someone else mentioned this but yeah they started with that edm style and there was a big hiatus between callin and take me higher which was when they changed their sound a lot and started trying more genres with the first mini album too and yeah cactus and callin live just hit different, truly An Experience... also I'm so happy to see u react to them!! i knew you would love them and im looking forward to the live performances reactions ☺️
Thank you for reacting to a A.C.E. I took my daughter to see them in 2018 and I’ve been Choice ever since. Can’t wait to see you react to “Higher” MV because the visuals and vocals are mind blowing. As for live performances, they have an unreleased song called “Hell (You Know Nothing)” that is amazing. No dancing, just singing and my friend likened the performance to a “goth prom” (in a very complementary way 😅).

Of course, you have one special bias, and all the rest are wreckers. Suggestions: I think you'll really love the Higher MV. Also, when you get into their non performance videos, you should check out "A.C.E cute & funny moments." It's by a channel called choiceisthename. They have short clips of them being on different variety shows since the beginning of their debut. I'm not sure if you want to react to it, but it's just fun to watch being a baby stan for A.C.E. I highly suggest checking out their cover of Youngblood by 5 Seconds of Summer. They also did a cover of a Psy song (Napal Baji) in concert which was absolutely fabulous. Sadly it's hard to find good a good quality video of it online. A.C.E definitely needs more recognition. They are so talented and I am so glad they had a concert in my city and that I was able to see them live. They have so much energy on stage and they are also the sweetest.
Just binged this whole series and this has been a JOY to watch. Thank you for this, it has really made me miss them but also reminded me what an amazing group they are. I'm a huge multi but A.C.E has been my ult for years and I think because there is a real humility and connection between the members and the fans that feels so much more intimate and sincere than any of my other fandoms. I do think that has to do largely with how small the company is and how slowly and progressively A.C.E has made advances in their career. They started without auditioning as founding members of Beat Interactive and they busked and connected with fans every day and have done so many fan meets and fan calls even before covid. Also can't wait for you to see their covers INCLUUUUUUDING the obsession cover ~_^

Cactus performances were my obsession for some time, those hot shorts match so perfect with the choreo and vibe. Callin is one of my fav songs now, but I realized it after I heard it several times. My first A.C.E m/v were Under cover and Savage and I stan these guys since then. Each of them is talented and unique in his own way and as a group they are stunning. Their personalities are adorable and you can ship everyone with everyone cause they are so close as a family😁 My fav ship DongChanJun😄 You'll understand Choice' struggle (when you watch some of the stuff with that) cause DongChan and JunChan are so cute and sweet and it's impossible to choose and WowKwan is also adorable.

i usually hate it when a group starts to put out more pop and radio friendly music as they grow, leaving behind their original sound but ACE managed to incorporate elements that have been their signature since the beginning in each of their comeback. you can see how their budget has become higher but you can clearly tell that’s them performing even if you didn’t know their previous songs

I've been a fan of A.C.E since debut and growing up with them and seeing how they evolved and being a witness of low budgets mv's with strong choreographies where they tried to stand out despite coming from a small company to this last comebacks with more mature sounds and finally showcasing their beautiful voices (which i think is their biggest weapon) is just so wonderful and i'm so proud of them. I cry everytime i listen to changer and YES, cactus and callin' live stages are INCREDIBLE i watched them perform this two songs jaw dropped in front row, they are considered as two of their most iconic songs even though i'm sure is not everyone's taste you can't deny that they absolutely nail every second of the songs and i hope when they come back from military they go on tours and people fall in love with them from how versatile and talented they are on stage. I have Cactus and Callin' on my playlist. Cactus didn't get added no matter how many times I saw the MV until I played just the song in my car and I enjoyed it a lot. That happens with me a lot. Sometimes I like a song just to listen to it if I don't connect with it watching the MV. Not sure why.

I don't know if anyone told you but Changer Dear Eris wasn't a promoter album. It was a gift for Choice and a promise of return after enlistment. Eris is the goddess of war in Greek mythology. The tweets in the song was like saying "Choice your words have always encouraged us and we will be there for you too". There are 5 CDs each with a secret message for Choice from a member. You pulled Jun. So it will have his message. They have 2 more mvs Stand by you and Higher. Thank you for reacting to them. 😊
I hope you will also listen to their b sides you will also love their vocals there. The only title track you haven't watch is Higher. You will definitely love it since their vocals there are so good. Also, the b sides in that album are also vocally amazing. Same with their latest release, Changer: Dear Eris, with the title track Changer.
Ok, so the deal with the member CD's is that there is a "hidden track" at the end of the album and the member on the CD is the one who leaves an audio message for you on the CD. And yes, I did get all five but you can get opened CD's on eBay or Mercari for pretty cheap as long as you don't mind ones without PC's. I got one of mine for as low as $5.00, and sometimes if you buy a photocard, a seller will throw it into an album because they can then mail it with tracking as media mail. I justified getting all five because some had already left for the military and more were leaving soon, lol.

to answer some questions a.c.e are im the first group to introduce edm style music to kpop so it's something that distinguished them from other groups and as you know a.c.e got their start by busking which where mainly dance covers so i think that's why cactus and callin where more centered around their dancing also for changer since it was the last comeback / music video before wow and donghun had to enlist they made it as a gift to choice, the text and tweets in the video are from actual choices it was something beat (their company) did for not only a.c.e but choice so yeah i'm glad you enjoyed it as much as you did cant wait to see future reaction content ☺️ also yes with dear :eris their are all five and all five have a different message from the members so it is very much a collection album 😭

Cactus performances were my obsession for some time, those hot shorts match so perfect with the choreo and vibe. Callin is one of my fav songs now, but I realized it after I heard it several times. My first A.C.E m/v were Under cover and Savage and I stan these guys since then. Each of them is talented and unique in his own way and as a group they are stunning. Their personalities are adorable and you can ship everyone with everyone cause they are so close as a family😁

I'm so excited for your upcoming ace reactions! Ace is probably one of the few groups that took a very short time to ult. Just because they are so talented and genuine :) I immediately felt a connection with them.
A.C.E. has been one of my favorite groups for years now and I honestly think they would be more popular if people got to know them. They’re so talented, I just don’t get how after all these years we’re still such a small fan base. We haven’t even gotten them a first win. I just hope when they’re all back from the military we can finally make it happen.
i usually hate it when a group starts to put out more pop and radio friendly music as they grow, leaving behind their original sound but ACE managed to incorporate elements that have been their signature since the beginning in each of their comeback. you can see how their budget has become higher but you can clearly tell that’s them performing even if you didn’t know their previous songs

I've been a fan of A.C.E since debut and growing up with them and seeing how they evolved and being a witness of low budgets mv's with strong choreographies where they tried to stand out despite coming from a small company to this last comebacks with more mature sounds and finally showcasing their beautiful voices (which i think is their biggest weapon) is just so wonderful and i'm so proud of them. I cry everytime i listen to changer and YES, cactus and callin' live stages are INCREDIBLE i watched them perform this two songs jaw dropped in front row, they are considered as two of their most iconic songs even though i'm sure is not everyone's taste you can't deny that they absolutely nail every second of the songs and i hope when they come back from military they go on tours and people fall in love with them from how versatile and talented they are on stage. I have Cactus and Callin' on my playlist. Cactus didn't get added no matter how many times I saw the MV until I played just the song in my car and I enjoyed it a lot. That happens with me a lot. Sometimes I like a song just to listen to it if I don't connect with it watching the MV. Not sure why.

I don't know if anyone told you but Changer Dear Eris wasn't a promoter album. It was a gift for Choice and a promise of return after enlistment. Eris is the goddess of war in Greek mythology.
The tweets in the song was like saying "Choice your words have always encouraged us and we will be there for you too". There are 5 CDs each with a secret message for Choice from a member. You pulled Jun. So it will have his message.
They have 2 more mvs Stand by you and Higher.

I hope you will also listen to their b sides you will also love their vocals there. The only title track you haven't watch is Higher. You will definitely love it since their vocals there are so good. Ok, so the deal with the member CD's is that there is a "hidden track" at the end of the album and the member on the CD is the one who leaves an audio message for you on the CD. And yes, I did get all five but you can get opened CD's on eBay or Mercari for pretty cheap as long as you don't mind ones without PC's. I got one of mine for as low as $5.00, and sometimes if you buy a photocard, a seller will throw it into an album because they can then mail it with tracking as media mail. I justified getting all five because some had already left for the military and more were leaving soon, lol.

They started with a really EDM heavy sound, and then it evolved. Now, you are still missing one title track, actually one that I think you would love. It's called "Higher", yes that's a completely different song to "Take me Higher", and it came out right before "Changer". Please check it out when you can, The MV visuals are beautiful, and everyone puts on their vocalist shine.
