U are one of very few fragrance Reviewer that i start to follow 2017-2018ish because of amouage the way u anotate every scent are so precise, very pro, very elegant. Even if preference is subjective, u do it objectively for sake of on your own audience.
-An0ther 13 fit best with my body chemistry. I can see why it's so popular. I wash my clothes in unscented hypoallergenic detergent and I still smelled the perfume on the sleeve of my sweater the next day. The scent made me feel rich and luxurious (which I am not, I'm lower middle class). It ended up being my first purchase at Le Labo. -Ylang 49 is a VERY strong smell and I recommend spraying it less than the other scents when wearing it. Which will probably help with longevity. I think it's best to wear in the cooler months as our sense of smell is a bit more numbed. So if you're traveling or from a cold area, this is a great scent. Definitely reminds me of the Philippines. As strong as it was, I was surprised it didn't leave behind a smell after I washed my clothes. -Santal 33 grew on me over time, especially as the leather smell softened but was still there. My friend described it as a combination of Ylang 49 and An0ther 13. Therefore, I would say is probably great to wear when you will be outside a lot. -Baie 19 if I'm going to be honest, I regret not buying it. The smell grew on me over time, which makes sense, I love the smell of pinewood/moss/forest. I will say it has the opposite issues of Ylang in which the smell becomes faint way faster. It's great if you work in a profession where you're around people who would be put-off by strong scents (hospitals or schools). -Nior 29 was my sister's favorite. She has a lot of allergies and suffers from dry skin so her pH is very different from mine. She also lives in a much colder climate. This was her choice for purchase. She also appreciates more floral scents and to me, this was floral, fresh, and clean; not at all overwhelming. -Vetiver 46 I'm from an area with a large Haitain population and so this smelled like home to me. Nior 29 is another scent with vetiver but this one is very vetiver forward. It smelled warm and very forward in the beginning. This was the only one I did not spray on myself but on paper it was pleasant. I hope I can compare it to Comme des Garcon 2Man soon. Overall if I were to purchase another scent to add onto my An0ther 13, I would go between Baie 19 and Santal 33. Ylang is a very mature scent that I think I would come back to once I age hehe. I do want to try Bergamonte 22, Jasmine 17, Rose 31, Fleur d'Oranger 27

I bought Another 13 100ml for the 2. time it is my SCENT! also had a 50ml Santal 33 but later on it turned to be not so my favorite. I've been wearing Neroli 36 for years now and I definitely see how its warmness can be misleading. It's definitely a clean linen, fresh laundry kind of warm. Not at all juicy but a little sharp and then powdery (aldehydes?), and then the calone for an aquatic feel but not too much! Very clean and sparkling but I wish it was sharper on my skin

Thank you kindly! Also, A13 is highly synthetic and also prone to overspraying. Perhaps that may be why you are experiencing this? This sounds weird, but try not to wear it for maybe a week or two. Then get back to it after your nose isn't "used to it" after awhile and spray it in even lesser doses. Like, maybe one spray on your elbow pulse point, and then the standard one spray on each side of your neck. And after that, I hope you experience similar positive feedback, but also feel like the scent does not go awry off of you. =]
Great video, Manny. I'm about 10 years into my fragrance journey and I still, oddly, have no Le Labo in my collection. Your prior recommendation of the London city exclusive - Poivre 23 - had me intrigued. I finally got my nose on it in September. My goodness it was nice. Then I checked the price. An eye-watering price-tag north of $C 600. Ay carumba! My price limit on fragrances has gradually been rising over the last couple years. It may take a few more years for Poivre 23. I need to look closer at some of your recommendations on this video. Great work, bud.
From what I was told about Ambrette 9 by an employee, it was created with a minimal amount of ingredients so that pregnant women/new mothers could safely wear it without fear of irritation and sensitivity to them or their child, its not really supposed to be for the average consumer
But yeah, not disagreeing with the rating but its not really made for those who want depth or complexity within their arsenal and simply for accommodating certain people

So maybe a feminine soliflore like something fruity and/or floral. Jo Malone Orange Blossom perhaps? Something like that. I do not know your taste, but I hope that helps. =]
lavande 31..is sooo soapy..moderate longevity around 6-7Hours..i was able to buy my le labo’s as afriend works in a dept store and they have 35% off..❤🎉😊
It’s not really a true patchouli scent but MAN I love Patchouli 24. It’s my top Le Labo. Other personal S tier for me are Another 13, The Noir 29, and Benjoin 19. Is Iris 39 discontinued? I haven’t sent it at my local Le labo as of late.

Matcha 26 is 1 of my top tier scents. I got more compliments than I did with Santal 33, which also smells amazing on me. You should definitely try it!
