I've been jumping back and forth between these two but I think I've made up my mind, thanks.
Really can't go wrong either way. I need to do an update video on the Woobies... They're holding up GREAT to punishment.
East coast Canadian here, been thinking about getting a pair of these for awhile to replace my pair of Xero HFS once they go. Thanks for the review, definitely think they'll be the right shoes for me!
This pair is going on 3 years old now, and I still wear them. The canvas is pretty worn, even some holes, but the rubber (whatever it is) looks practically brand new.
i might get these later this summer im a size 10 idk why finding shoes is hard now a days

The toebox looks wider on the Woobies. The Altamas were definitely more tight in the toebox compared to other boots and sneakers.

I bought a size 9.5, half a size larger for me cause I sport wide flipper feet!

Well how is the update I’m still debating between the two, i have a wide foot so maybe that’ll mitigate the clown look with them being so narrow

*I* like them better than my Altamas, but that's purely subjective. I wouldn't say they're "better" or "worse". If I had wide feet I might prefer the Altamas.
Also, I've done some training classes, lots of skating, and they're my every day workout shoes (not running), and they're holding up GREAT. 🤙🏼

Hey man, this looks sick! I need a wide toe box design because I have an acute bunion on my right foot, is this any good for such conditions?
For wider feet I'd recommend the Altama OTB, because they're available in a "Wide" size.

ok man, I need some advice from someone who's worn both Woobie and Altamas, how does the sizing compare? I'm a 9.5 reg, I got a pair of Altama lows and they feel a bit too snug up front for me (but 10s were too long). Are the Woobies more "true to size" in your opinion?
Man, that's tough. I have two VERY different sized feet (10 & 11), so shoes never fit like they're supposed to for me. I got 11s in both brands, and they both fit about the same. The big difference for me is that the laces are set farther apart on the Woobies, so they work better for my narrow feet. Length-wise they seem about the same, but again, there may be a width component to that which makes them fit differently for you.
@@SapperGentleman thanks! Altama has a wide option I'm going to try, but not hopeful, wides never work for me, always too wide. Ordering a pair of the Woobies in 9.5 once the cementos are back in stock. Hopefully they fit a little looser.
@@davidmedeiros7572 Hopefully they'll be just-right for you! I just compared my Altamas to my Woobies end-to-end, and they're exactly the same on the soles, but I think the Woobies will give you a little more toe room.
Btw, the Woobies are holding up amazingly, and I'll be ordering myself another pair next month for my birthday. 😁
