@sirzebra perhaps, "happiest possible song" is a bit of a stretch for you to have such certainty that, I'd, "know that," but I can see it from that perspective. However, the "happiest possible song" would likely be a culmination of melody, timber, tone, lyrics, and whatever else could be fairly established as a category for consideration. Micheal Jackson thought he had won an award called, "Artist of the Millennium" live on television, and was very embarrassed to learn that it was just an intangible honor of one of his peers holding him in high regard. This isn't a real award, but I think it wouldn't win. The song is hell dipped in chocolate and sprinkled. My personal favorite bass line of all time.
Cos it sounds like a terrified 10 yo kid calling the police and asking for help after being beaten again. The last scream is actually a bit disturbing.
Hatsune Miku & Daft Punk's vintage soul collaboration project went in a chaotic direction. I hear there were deaths. I think some of them can be heard in the background.
@@norai.5826 if you know The Strokes, it's the same lead singer (Julian Casablancas)... It's quite experimental stuff, I'd maybe recommend Dare I Care, Qyurryus, Human Sadness, Did My Best, AlieNNatioN, Permanent High School as starters... The whole of their album Virtue is a great listen tho :)
Legitimately scared, cos it sounds like a terrified 10 yo Micheal calling the police and asking for help after being beaten again at the end of hours and hours of training for dancing and singing. The last scream is actually a bit disturbing.
This sounds like having a panic attack while listening to the song. This gives me anxiety.
This is like the music format of having a stroke
😂 LOL 😂
It figures that the happiest possible song would turn super dark and ominous in reverse harmony.
just like MJ's career
Happiest song? Wanting someone back?
@@everennui1 he means the music and the way it's arranged, not the lyrics, and you knew it.
Behind the scenes, poor Michael ,and his Sisters, and Vrothers, were constanlty coached, by their parents, to sing songs, and make them money.

My personal favorite bass line of all time.
The ascending piano glissando cracked me up.
i have listened to so many of these and this is the one my brain is least willing to accept for some reason
More than Smash Mouth? That was the hardest for me. Also one of the best

@@alessandrocebriancobos9422 All Star negative harmony goes hard it kinda reminds me of Tally Hall for some reason
@@norai.5826 yeah the screams definitely lol
im obsessed with how you did the backing vocals
I really love this song "You Hate Me here"
Love it! Day 2 of asking for a negative harmony Mr Blue Sky!!!
Mrs. Orange Sea
Gonna be Mr Dark Sky?
Man and you just KNOW Steve would kill the harmonization on that song
Sounds like the producer is pointing a gun at them while they sing.
Hatsune Miku & Daft Punk's vintage soul collaboration project went in a chaotic direction.

It sounds like an indie pop-rock song from 2014, I like it 🔥
Really? Not considering the vocals, to me it has a middle eastern touch and sounds like a disco remix of Britney Spears 's *Toxic.*
@@norai.5826 So basically The Voidz then 🎸😉
@@jtbrooks Never heard of them, thanks. Could you please suggest me something interesting by them and/or something related to my comment?

Would love to hear just the instrumental for this one.
Has almost an early 2000s RnB feel
That bassline !
Feels like nightmare music
Ah yes, my favorite song; You Despise My Absence
With a little bit of tweaking, this would still go hard. the bass line is pretty cool
Fits the lyrics better.
I ever loved "You don't want me forth" by Fiveson Jack
I think this is a They Might Be Giants song already, cant remember which one...
Reminds me of Distant Antenna by Monopuff, actually?
(Tmbg side project)
Don't Let's Start?
im scared steve...
yes please but also, no thank you
Blood-curdling
You Don't Want Me Forward
okay i love this version
Don't wanna be that guy, but why it reminded me of Persona 5??
I don’t know how to explain how much I love these negative versions 😂 great job!
This sounds twisted a hell. This is the version Michael wrote after his pops beat his ass.
Omg can you please do a version of phantom of the opera?? I think it will be cool
"Now, "I Want You Back", from the Jackson 5, but from the allegations and cases we know."
What a break-up feels like in a war zone 💥🚁
"Get outta my way" (Disappear Mix)
One of the best ones yet IMO.
The vocals are quite hidden behind the music in this one.
Proof negative harmony is just an exercise
Sounds like the Mars Volta, lol. Something about the vocals and the compositon together just throws me there
I Want You Gone
The bad ending of GOTG
You should do a negative harmony for when the party’s over by Billie eilish, I think that would sound interesting
Could you do Just The Two Of Us?
Please!Make Weezer Buddy-Holly)
Please do a cover for The Mars Volta!!!!!!!!
So cool
Can you please do The pretiest star by David Bowie?
Please do Bad Apple! (The English translation)
Nice fusion
I Dont Want You Back
That's the villain theme
I somehow understand the lyrics even less than the original
interesting output
i heard they play this to the inmates at gitmo
BROTHERS, not Vrothers
how do you do this
Cursed
“You should leave”
sounds like a cat dying
"I'll Never Get You Back, So I'll Just Curl Up Into a Ball and Cry for Awhile"
Mom come pick me up im scared
