If you wish to see the beauty of Chandigarh then book your room in Chandigarh .( Sector 22) is best location for covering the whole city. Chandigarh is a very small city whole city you can covered in 20km.

Shimla is full of hotels , more than 1000 nos. Every body have preference according to his budget. Hotels rent start from rs. 1000 to 20000 per day. Better book from make my trip other app. You will get good deals
