You make it feel much more acceptable to only have 1 or 2 binders! Some people I watch stuffing like 15! Which is great for them but I can't think of that many categories 😅
I think the same thing. Some of them have so much cash sitting around that would get 4% in a savings account, and that I really dont understand at all.
@@canecorsomom2023 Ikr They're saving money but losing money at the same time. Even with a safe, I wouldn't want to keep that much money in my home. It's also time-consuming trying to keep up with that.
Having ADHA, all the binders stress me out. I’m also happy to see a channel like this. I feel this weird pressure to buy so many binders and I did and I trashed them because I couldn’t keep up with it all. A couple savings challenges at a time is okay. Why have all that money spread between 10binders and non of them are full by the year end? And I combine categories, just makes more sense. Like medical and emergency to me fall into the same category, because I don’t expect to be at the hospital anytime soon, God willing. And my bills is are auto pay, it’s waste to take it out of the bank.
I like the simplicity of your setup. You should be proud of how much you’ve managed to save. Establishing an Emergency Fund this year is my top financial goal, thanks for the encouragement.
Hey Monet great video as usual. Don't let the mechanics stress you out. They just want to make money. Most cars only need oil changes every 2000 -3000 miles. Learn to check the stick for yourself as well. Air filters should be changed every 6-12 months depending on how much you drive and your environment. Learn to check those too. Learn to check air pressure in your tires with the change of weather and purchase a compressor just in case you need to put air in your tire. They are small and easy to use. Wipers should be changed if they are no longer wiping clear. You can change them yourself. There are a lot of little things you can do yourself that mechanics will charge crazy money for so it's good to learn for yourself. You are doing great with your finances. That home will be in your reach really soon. Keep saving.
I enjoyed the video and for your dad's birthday gift give him a gift card to his favorite restaurant or store if you haven't done that already or a money bouquet. Have a great week! 😊
Maybe instead of buying a gift for your dad.. why not just take him out to dinner and maybe a movie.. just the two of you… take it from someone who’s dad passed almost 1 year ago… Jan 22…you won’t regret just spending time with him❤️
Thats just an estimate get the oil change at 15% that's when my light comes on. I never pay attention to the sticker or the notifications it's always off
Ty for the video. I enjoyed it because there were no millions of endless scratchies and gazillion binders. I think for your dad, make him a personal scratchie 😂(yes, I said it). This one you put things like, having a daughter/ dad coffee/dinner date etc. And add gift cards for restaurants and coffee shop.
My dad doesn’t like to pay for “extras” so I’ll pay for an Apple gift card so he can use it for apps that require a subscription like his weather app 😂

Thank you! I agree, when there are too many binders I get overwhelmed. If I can’t contain my categories in one binder I feel I am doing too much 😅

I think that’s overkill and I just can’t focus on that many envelopes 😅 I have 2 binders and a cash envelope wallet that’s it!

Make sure to always get a second and third opinion on car maintenance to make sure you are not getting ripped off

Great vlog. I enjoy your shopping vlogs as well.
Great video! I am new to cash stuffing and I am also trying to keep my binders down to 1-2 binders so it's not overwhelming for a lot of people!
