Anybody who has read the novels will vouch how godly Re Zero gets after season 2. This only shows parts of arc 5, and this season is adapting arcs 5 and 6 (many fans think arc 6 is a masterpiece and the best arc of re zero). If you're an anime only, enjoy, because this is when Re Zero becomes one of the most legendary shows in anime.
Arc 6 of re zero is liked Nt9 of toaru
arc 4 was a turning point for me. Its mystery thriller atmosphere was really great. Also it based the foundations of the worldbuilding like witches, 400 years history etc. But arc 5 and especially 6 expand the series so much. While arc 4 is special to me, re zero's biggest moves are in 5 and 6

When I watched season 1, by 2018, I was miserable in HS. Had nothing going on for myself. Subaru inspired me to change.
By 2020-2021, in the second season, I was the 4th best student in my senior year at HS, got into the best college in my state. Still inspired by Subaru.
By 2024, I'm a mid level software engineer working in AI. I can't tell if id have gotten this far without Re:Zero. This past 7 years have been insane. I'm forever thankful for the entire staff involved in ReZero.

I just batched this whole thing, starting from season 1 and last eps of season 2 part 2.
I actually had already watched the first season a few years back, back then? I was so stupid i couldn't even catch the small little detail and nuances with each and every episode the whole anime carries within, now that I'm in a more mature whilst also having better perception and views around the whole entire past 4 arcs, I can pridefully say that THIS IS THE BEST ISEKAI of all times.
These guys been hyping it up saying "It's only getting better" And now all I'm left with is just excitement!
Dude same! When i first watched re zero season 1 i thought it was nothing special i couldn't see any charm in it back then that made it a masterpiece and the best isekai as i do now. but suddenly i started to find it really interesting and rewatched the first season before watching season 2 and it became one of the most interesting enjoyable and entertaining watch/experience in my life as i was actually able to understand everything beautifully written by the author this time and i realised just how interesting re zero is that no other isekai even comes close to. Its on the top not just in isekai but also anime in general. Really glad i was able to realise just how legendary this masterpiece is.

Just finished rewatching all 50 episodes for the sake of season 3. And I think I'm gonna rewatch as well OPM to get back that feeling since JC staff is pretty serious on regaining their reputation for OPM season 3.
The arc when re zero temporarily became a shonen 🔥🔥
what's the premise
Nah, Shonen can't add any psychological horror to the anime. But i do get it, from the previous arc till arc 6, subaru and co's will handle the problems together from the beginning. So i slightly get the Shonen hint from that. Aside from that, the entire shows, even the WN's are Seinen.
