Now it's more like when I grew up, although being an adult now I try to not dump a game half way.

While the All Bonds cheat was really cool, I'd argue the secret island on the Dam level was even more legendary. I remember people obsessing trying to get over to that section of the map, until a GameShark code finally made it happen. Unfortunately, there was nothing there except a tower and a gun turret, but it was still cool to see.

Really not until being an adult and the legacy collection, Bass is the one of the most popular, notable, and timeless characters from the OG Megaman to Battle Network, but pretty much all notable characters existed before in the OG series.
I spent hours on motorcross madness when I was a kid. And yes, that Easter egg was absolutely a random discovery for a 7 year old. I would do it 10-15 times before finally getting out if the game. It was really amazing
Homefront The Revolution is criminally underrated and over-hated for no real reason other than the internet saying it's bad. The on-the-fly-weapon customization and conversion is absolutely bonkers in the best way imaginable. Want a 3-burst grenade launcher with a 16x scope? Why the hell not

about the cow lvl: back in Diablo 1, there was a cow in Tristram. It was clickable, and it had a 'moo' sound when clicked. Since there is so few interactive NPCs in D1, that sparked a rumor there was a "secret cow level" which you could achieve by clicking the cow 50+ times or whatever. That's where the rumor started, and when D2 came out the rumor persisted.

In it was how to unlock literally everything in GoldenEye. The 4 bond skins included. My brother and I got all the cheats and it breathed years of new life in to that game. God I miss those days when games were games.
In regards to the dirt bike game. There was a jet ski game (either N64 or GC) with a similar system. If you went far off the track, you go scooped up by a giant tentacle and launched back on the track.
