Dear Chris, thanks for sharing the requested video. We're so sorry for the bad experience on your new bike. Nireeka takes full responsibility to send you a new bike immediately and we will send you a tracking number in a short time. Also, our logistic team is investigating the issue with FedEx and we will inform you about it through our ticketing system. We're looking forward to your upcoming Unboxing!
Awesome!!! Thank you for the prompt response. It is very much appreciated. 👍
I can’t believe that people are suggesting the bike was sent out already damaged, did any of you stop to think that it might’ve been damaged in shipment by FedEx or whoever?
Oh imagine that, Nireeka sent out ANOTHER broken bike. Seems to be a trend with this company.
It does. And there is an issue on the higher gears under high load. The chain skips teeth on the rear sprocket and wants to come off of the front sprocket. Poorly designed.
So now you have to wait another month plus for shipping.
I believe your new bike incoming should be discounted.
just my opinion
Currently still waiting for a resolution. Thank you for sharing your opinion!
They asked for additional videos using a multimeter showing the charger output voltage and the battery voltage after charging to full. They also asked for a video showing the removal of the chain from the sprocket and to power the bike on and ensure the motor works. We will see what happens, I suppose.
I believe they are good company, I've done a lot of research on them within the past year. I'm sure they will do the right thing, it's just a pain that you have to deal with this after the anticipation of arrival to begin with. it does happen.
what is the other information request.
I wasn't sure how that would pertain to a damaged bike during shipping.
good luck my friend
Thanks! I'm guessing the other info they asked for was to try avoid having to send another battery which removes the hazardous material designation since there wont be a lithium battery being shipped. Not sure though. I think they will do the right thing also, it is definitely a slow process getting there lol
Things like this really kept me from ordering a Nireeka Prime. Looks great but if it gets damaged while being packed I fear what could happen if driven. I will stick to alumina for an ebike. Quality really does come at a price.
I believe that if instead a carbon bike there had been an aluminum bibi to see what happened it would have bent and would have been unusable anyway
Oh don't even question that this bike will break itself if you don't pull it out of the box already broken. Total trash bike and even worse company. I know from 1st hand experience.
My box had various holes in it where it had been Miss handled whilst shipping. Fortunately it wasn't damaged but Nireeka do their upmost to protect them with an immense amount of cardboard and sponge covering and even a supporting piece of timber on the forks. Hats off to Nireeka for doing an amazing job and for creating such an amazing e-bike
I’ve got about 200 miles on mine now. Changed out the rear cassette to a 10-speed and that helped significantly with the derailleur issues.
