My previous company had no appraisal culture. Employee had to ask again and again for pay raise and the management kept saying yes we will talk about it and 1-2 saal esi hi nikal jaate they! 🤣🤣🤣

Appraisal never happens like this. No Hr or employer calls anyone for review. They always send a feedback form and want their employees to fill that form and want to know about their achievements.

I am sorry to spoil your fun, but I do not see anything funny about it.
If anything, it draws attention to a disturbing revelation. That only boot lickers are the ones who get ahead regardless of how less work they put in.
The only redeeming part of the situation shown here (which is quite realistic, mind you), is that the hard worker at least got an 8% increment.
In real life, the hard-worker doesn’t even get that.
Ghanta appraisal....Promotion k naam par kaam badha denge...bolenge you are young..you should give more hours to your career so that you can diversify your knowledge portfolio..
