I love how Ren and BigB both got down to 1 heart at the beginning but they both said it was the other person that did it

haven't seen their episodes yet but I reckon it was probably a combination of the two. They probs both took damage at the same time, but cause they took more damage than they should've realised the other had taken damage and so blamed it on them lol.
It was BigB. He and Tango got attacked by a witch and BigB got poisoned down to 1 heart.

If you watch scar's Hermitcraft you will understand, he dies alot and thats even with him editing them deaths out. The hermits see all those behind the scenes deaths.
The man walks around in half a heart and 4 hunger while holding a stack of golden carrots.
Its also hilarious that grian is scar's partner again, he always seems to be scar's bodyguard in the life series.

Pearl went on fire the same time cleo started dropping heath, so it really wasn't that clear.

The end of Pearl's episode was so sad because if you haven't seen it right after Scott and Cleo break up, Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girl Boss then Martin left her too, I felt so bad for Pearl, I wonder if the pairings will ever make amends? I kind of hope not it'll be funny to have these 4 doing their own thing while the others live together with their pairs

This is going to be SUPER awkward if you and Scott end up as part of the last 'pairs' alive and have to figure out what to do for a final confrontation where your only chance for victory is to win WITH your cheating partners.
They could perform coordinated suicide to prevent either cheating partner from winning.
I fully want a hunger games nobody-wins ending if that becomes the case 😄

This is kinda fun though. With everybody else babysitting their soul links, it'll be fun to watch Cleo and Scott freaking out every time they take damage they don't anticipate, and vice versa.

They actually changed the rules in the finale last second, viewing the chat that impulse says - this was a while before Scott's sacrifice. VERY confusing - that no one said anything in editing at the start of episode 6, I don't think anyone put anything in the editing at all about it.
And both Grian and Cleo had said that 2 players would win together here in episode 1.
So it was just one winner as if that had been the rules the whole time - with hardly an announcement from Impulse in the chat.
Anyway, that's why I rank them in pairs and always will. They could have at least clarified the change in episode 6, but no, each team appears to have gone in expecting to win as a pair.

I just realized this mechanic could be really broken. Imagine a pair stocking up on regen and instant health potions, then one person goes on a rampage killing as many people as possible while the other person hides in a hole spamming the potions.
