- The script for this animation comes from Graham Hancock's book, "Fingerprints of the Gods", published in 1995. In "Fingerprints of the Gods", Hancock embarks on a worldwide quest to put together all the pieces of the vast and fascinating jigsaw of mankind’s hidden past. In ancient monuments as far apart as Egypt’s Great Sphinx, the strange Andean ruins of Tihuanaco, and Mexico’s awe-inspiring Temples of the Sun and Moon, he reveals not only the clear fingerprints of an as-yet-unidentified civilization of remote antiquity, but also startling evidence of its vast sophistication, technological advancement, and evolved scientific knowledge.
In this video, we focus on the final conclusion of "Fingerprints of the Gods", where Graham has an encounter with an elder of the Hopi people in New Mexico. The Hopi believe that we are walking in the last days, with a geological sword of Damocles hanging over us. According to their myths:
The first world was destroyed, as a punishment for human misdemeanours, by an all-consuming fire that came from above and below. The second world ended when the terrestrial globe toppled from its axis and everything was covered with ice. The third world ended in a universal flood. The present world is the fourth. Its fate will depend on whether or not its inhabitants behave in accordance with the Creator’s plans …’

@@peacefuldaizy5717 yup but I don't think they study them like we did in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Hopi, the other tribes on NA, Egyptians, tribes of South America, Africa and Australia. The lost civilizations they were discovering to and the land masses they believed were sites where under sand.

One word: "Koyaanisqatsi". I have watched that arthouse film many times since it came out in the early '80s. I still listen to the OST regularly during my work commute. The Hopi seem to have a much better connection with our ancient past.

@@JasKhalid I’m far from religious but the Bible is fascinating. It’s much more interesting to look into the original tablets it was based on. Look into that if you want to find some real truths to our core. Ancient Sumerian tablets. It sounds fictional but it is fact. Written in stone literally.
Even the Viking myth of Ragnarök aligns with this stuff. It is the end of the world apocalypse that involves the world coming underwater and afterwards the world starts anew. There is also a poem about Ragnarök that speaks briefly about the state of the world just before it hits. Lawlessness, brother killing brother. Everywhere you look into culture and old myths its the same. Truly, it will be here shortly.

No divine agent entered into history to defeat the Nazis with thunderbolts, it took war machines, organization, planning, and skilled, brave, dedicated human beings working together to create a better world for us to live in.
"Do not trust to despair." Start a farm, create art that affirms the values of life and positivity, breed a new variety of Dahlia, make a new recipe for chicken soup, clean up your front yard really nicely and you'll observe everyone in your neighborhood follow suit and do the same.
We as individuals decide the values we affirm, not some aloof "Designer," who apparently and observably employed phylogenetic biological evolution to generate all the organisms alive on Earth over billions of solar cycles that it is given credit for "creating" them.

Very well said. I enjoy Graham Hancock, but it seems like an endless process of confirmation bias. You start with the hypothesis and then look for evidence to support that hypothesis. Likewise, humans have always been saying that the end is near. It’s part of being a human being. It’s evolution teaching us to protect ourselves. Fun stuff, though.
There's just more layers to reality and you are dismissing the spiritual and that is exactly what everyone means by "designer". All animals are equally peaceful until they go extinct due to our pollution, for example. Don't choose to be the animal when you have untapped potential. The world is indeed going to shit at an alarming rate and it's not the climate BS. It's the lack of morals in people with power, not the cheeseburger eating civilians with a garden.
Thanks for expressing a refreshing perspective. As you say it is up to us individually and collectively to create a better world. Make small practical changes that can have a positive effect. Get involved in community projects, share ideas, listen to different perspectives, make art, grow food. There's so much doom mongering and despair around right now but it's like a collective brain washing. It matters what we think and how we view the world. If you want a better world you first have to visualise things getting better and then put the work in.

Thank you Mr. Hancock. Back about 1996, Hope and Maori elders were holding conferences around the world, advising people to change their ways, because the time has come. Humanity needs to prepare to move through the 4th dimension into the 5th. A long time has passed since, still, it would've been nice to hear more about this event from the Hopi wisdom. Some even claim that Mother Earth will ascend with or without us, a unique event that has never happened before in the history of the planet.

A collapse is inevitable, we all feel it. I’m 46 (studied philosophy and religious texts) and never believed something catastrophic, ending the world as we know it could happen in my lifetime but I believe in my intuition and I fear for us all.

I can only say things feel different for a lot of people. Maybe we feel humanity has gone too far down the wrong road of hubris, decadence and greed, and we deserve a catastrophe but for myself I don’t want innocent people to suffer just because the worst people in our society have gone too far.

My uncle was a baby boomer and he kept wishing for a meteor to hit but I told him that every generation had a contingent that believed the end is coming and they were all wrong and that the chance it would happen in his lifetime was nil. Maybe I do just feel our collective fear but the richest people are building doomsday bunkers and selling their stocks for billions of dollars, something does seem to be happening. What are they going to buy with billions in cash? If I’m wrong then I’m glad, I hope I am, if I’m just feeling part of this mass psychosis that would be a great thing. I’m just saying I’ve never believed it possible to experience a catastrophe that would end life as we know it, that’s not me but I can’t deny that I feel like it’s palpable in this moment.

Rudolf Steiner gave many lectures about the Lemurian and Atlantean epochs. If you want to understand the earlier cataclysms as well as the next one, you should read his lectures. We are not close, as in current lifetimes, to the next destruction but we are at a point upon which our choices and behaviors will determine the next destruction and which souls make it out to the next evolution and which are left behind to be as lower animals or nature spirits.
You seem pretty sure it's not going to happen soon but you don't really explain how you might know this... I think anything could happen at anytime and I also everything happens now

Thankyou Graham and After School for your illustrated message. It rings of both plausibility and spirituality to me. I choose not to shut my eyes, ears and mouth to what rings true. It seems to me that science only becomes accepted after the old ‘guarded’ guard have passed on, because the guarded guard are simply protecting their own standing amongst their peers. He’s not giving us answers he’s asking all the questions we don’t hear asked in the main stream. Particularly those with unknown and uncomfortable answers

What he is actually saying is that we as human being, we tend to forget, we forgot that several ancient civilization in past decline by for example climatic troubles, and we are in the same trouble thousands of years after. He is trying to rise awareness because nobody is really doing something, AND to be honest small scales recycling its not soing something, we are taking of global real actions, as well as spiritual and earth connection@@JasKhalid

I was lucky enough in my life to visit and talk with Hopi Indians, to travel around the world and meet fascinating people and magical places. And I were also very lucky to start trust in to intuition and common sense. And lastly I am lucky enough to be able to share all this info and experience with everybody. And when I am telling stories to my grandchildren to quench their thirst for knowledge, stories are the same as Grahams story. THX.

@@JasKhalid You would rather not know? If it happens in our lifetime so be it, not much you can do to stop it. This is just one of many prophecies pointing to the same thing. The ancient civilisations put a fair bit of effort into leaving these warnings for us. Graham has done great work putting a lot of it together.
There is a new earth birthing, which may be a surprise to us all when it actually manifests! I feel it in my bones that the common man is choosing his heart vibration of unconditional love more frequently.There is a good deal of us who are tired of wars and conflicts and of greed jealousy.
