    At 8 months post big chop i had serious heat damage at the left side of my hair and it spoilt the look of my whole natural hair...I've tried so hard to revert but all to no avail..so i gathered the courage to relax all of my hair this month...i'm starting my transition all over again. I'll miss being natural. But all this while I've learnt everything i need to know from you queeny..everything and i just want to say thank you for being a passionate and dedicated natural hair youtuber...4c type hair especially. Great video, all your tips are correct. Much love from Nigeria❤

    When I prepoo overnight I just put a plastic bag on my head, but on my towel turbie, and then wrap a microfiber towel around my head to generate as much heat on my head as possible.

    I'm definitely gonna try conditioner on my edges. Crazy I knew this conditioner trick but NEVER thought to do just my edges. I'm not an edges person. I only keep my hair in conditioner in the humid Summer weeks.

    I had to watch this video twice and take notes. I definitely did not know that you can wash your edges with a natural soap bar. I will definitely have to get that and the spray bottle.

    • @judethaddeus9856
      @judethaddeus9856 4 роки тому

      You mix it with water as per the directions on the bottle and section and apply to your hair.. I’ve not used one but I’ve looked at them in stores. I know clay is supposed to be very good at detoxifying hair and skin...

    Thanks. I see so many people pre poo. Can you tell me what it does? I've never done one. Info abt my hair:medium length, low porosity and it really doesn't tangle much.

    • @naturallyjelly2277
      @naturallyjelly2277 5 років тому +2

      Pre pooing your hair basically moisturizes and detangles your hair before shampooing since shampoos can be very stripping or cleansing!

    • @shakeaboot
      @shakeaboot 5 років тому +3

      Prepooing is helpful in preventing hydrofatigue, moisture overload, and excessive tangling during your wash day. If you don't coat you hair in oil then the repeated wetting, drying, and then rewetting of your hair in a short time period can cause damage to you hair. This damage can make you more sensitive to getting moisture overload. Also if you detangle your hair before you Shampoo then you'll have few big knots and matted bits after you Shampoo. For me shampooing exasperates my tangle and makes it harder to detangle my hair.

    • @Godisloven09
      @Godisloven09 5 років тому +2

      Kiersten H Thank you both for explaining. I shampoo and deep condition weekly and Ive not had any issues with excessive tangles and knots. And I loose very little hair. I may try to pre poo just to see if it makes a big difference.
