Flash Sentry's Foalhood Always There

Hey guys! I thought you might like to see this fan animatic. It's mostly my artwork. I only used a couple of backgrounds from the My Little Pony movie and the characters, Flash and Base also belong to MLP of course. Flash Sentry is my favorite background pony and I think he and First Base are great brothers. The thing that puzzled me was the thought that one brother lives in Canterlot and the other lives in Ponyville. It's true that he could have just grown up and left to train to be a guard, but I don't think that's likely because even someone who grows up and leaves will come and visit their family if he's good and he is a good guy. That story also doesn't do much as far as character building. Flash Sentry is a pony who desires to help those in need, but how did he get that way? There isn't any strong person who hasn't had a rough past. Diamond Tiara mentioned First Base having a secret and I think it was that he and Flash were adopted. My version of Flash's backstory looks like this: Flash and First Base were born in Baltimare. Their mother, Wishawhirl Sentry was one of the best guards there and their father, Static Electricity was an intelligent medical scientist. One day Flash's mother was relocated to another base and the family followed, but they had to go through the bad lands and Wishawhirl and Static ended up being captured. Because he was small at the time, Flash and his brother were just able to slip through the bars, but he had to leave his parents behind and sneak him and his brother out of that awful city. He and First Base found their way back to Baltimare and when somepony found them, they were put in an orphanage. They stayed together for a little while, but because Flash was almost a tween, ponies didn't want the responsibility of caring for both of them. So, they were adopted by separate families. First Base was adopted by a sport loving family in Ponyville and later, Flash was adopted by a retired guard in Canterlot. Because of the loss of his parents, Flash Sentry had to grow up pretty quick and was trying to be both a brother and a father-like figure for his brother, First Base. During his time at the orphanage, Flash Sentry became like a big brother to all the other orphans as well. This video takes place in the orphanage. This new kid can't get to sleep because he misses his mom and Flash goes over to try to comfort him. The others try to comfort him by talking about their parents and this makes Flash think of his own parents. The song I used is from one of the Land Before Time movies with a little audio editing to make the voices sound different. This is sad, but it's also a touching video. I hope you guys like it.
