Super73 Circuit of the Americas Austin Texas! Join us as we take two Super73 S2's and 1 Super 73 RX on the only Formula One Track in the United States, "The Circuit of the Americas" located in beautiful Austin Texas.
The Circuit of the Americas hosts "Bike Night" Tuesday Nights in March, April, May, June, September & October. Bikers of all levels are invited. All bikes from road to recumbent to E-bikes are allowed on the track. This is truly a unique experience as this is one of the few ways outside of driving a Formula One race car that will get you access to the F1 Track in Austin. The cost is a mere $5.00 and food trucks and refreshments are available for purchase as well. When you complete your laps, feel free to drop by the bar after your ride for a few brews!
You can do as many laps as you like from 5-8pm each Bike Night. I believe we got in 4 laps using mostly throttle. After that, we were down to about 28% battery life and the bike started to slow down. After hitting speeds (downhill) as high as 42 mph, going slower than 30 just didn't seem as much fun.
Since we were some of the fastest bikes on the track, several of the serious bikers were drafting behind us, inches from our tires. They went faster downhill than we could. Pedaling or throttling when you get past a certain speed on a downhill does almost nothing for your speed.
We really enjoyed it and it was our first group ride in Austin Texas. Hopefully, the first of many.
