I love the buildup in this series. The first episode may not seem the most eventful, but it sets up some dark horses, upgrades some players and makes some teams grab more than one win (which will gradually make them stronger, but also make them give so many players to their opponents if they lose.

Isn’t that San Marino? That would mean you’d have to upgrade the player’s overall by 4 in total, as it’s its own country.

Love this series. Just realised a small mistake though. FC St. Gallen in Switzerland is part of Canton of St. Gallen, right now it would've been Appenzell.. so you just have to change it for the bigger, outside part.

I have an idea that you can implement to Global Imperialism.the name of the idea is called "Switch" so essentially what this means is after every 10 teams eliminated a switch happens where you spin the wheel twice and whichever 2 teams gets spinned by the wheel they switch lands in the map
For example:A switch occurs and you spin Lazio and Bordeaux.what you do Here is That Bordeaux loses all their land and Lazio gets those land but Lazio also loses their land and Bordeaux gets Lazios Land.this will be fun,unique,chaotic,game changing at the same time

Shouldn’t the team that’s attacking always be away? I’m only 7 minutes in and it’s switched back and forth each time a team has attacked. Elversberg attacked Kaiserslautern but were at home. Might make a difference to some of the results

Day 9 asking Jarrad to rebuild Racing (pronounced Rah-thing) Santander. They qualified for the 2008-09 UEFA Cup and got drawn in the same group as PSG (they got a 2-2 draw) and Manchester City (they beat them here in Santander 3-1) and got grouped by a goal (+2 for PSG, +1 for Racing). In 2012, they got relegated to the Second Division and have been alternating between the 3rd and the 2nd Division without any options of returning to LaLiga. They're currently sitting 10th in Segunda División, 4 points away from the Play-off to LaLiga. It would be incredible if you made them win the UCL.

New rule idea:if a player gets a 8.0 or more mach rating ,the player get a plus 1 upgeade
Just advice: if lower league teams upset upper league team ; instead of giving one player but give them two best rated players just to give underdogs more chance. Anyway love the series!

Love the video but if I could make one suggestion it'd be to make sure the team doing the invading/imperialising is the away team every time. This affects the sim formula as the home team has a slight advantage (just as a defending state would do when faced with an invading force for instance). Otherwise a brilliant series and I can't wait for more!!!
