Fun (or not so fun) fact: Wendy's chili, at least when I worked there 10 years ago, is made from the old, dried up hamburger meat that didn't get sold.

@@fegoracedia6080 like it's cooked to be used for burgers, sits on the grill and doesn't get used, dries up until it can't be used in a burger, then gets stored in a container to be used for chili meat because the sauce will make the meat moist again.

Eh, I've eaten worse. I bought cornstarch that unfortunately had a dead cockroach inside. Found out while I was putting some on the soup I was making. Did me and my family still ate the soup? Hell yes. It was delicious and I didn't die.

Wendy’s ain’t in my top 10 burger joints, but their chili got me by when I started at my first job. Tbh, it wasn’t the best chili (homemade ones are my top pick), but it hits just right with me. It was a sort of comfort food after a long night of working at a place I only tolerated because I needed the money & entry level experience.
