Are you still enjoying this sprayer? I am a furniture artist. I build furniture as well as repainting pre-loved furniture. Will also be building cabinets. This was fun to watch. That Canada project looks amazing. I enjoyed watching how you use it. I have loved mine so far. I’ve only been able to use it for about a week. But fell in love immediately
Hi. Thanks for all the info on the Quickshot (and all your videos really!). I've just invested in one on the strength of your reviews. I wondered if you could help with a technical question? What tips do you use? I've been playing with the 514 included tip, but it doesn't play nicely with my smooth masonry paint, even when thinned. What tips do you use for all your exterior murals (I'm assuming that you use exterior latex paints) and do you thin your paints? I know in one review, you mentioned that you use your paints undiluted. I'm struggling to do that. I hope that you can help . Cheers 😊
@@iamdetour hahah i feel u X)... have you seen that mtn 94 clear coat that you roll on? that says it fine for sprayers if you dilute it a bit.. a buddy used that on a mural this week via a roller, it came out really clean. no streaks
@@iamdetour I have used a regular airbrush in the past and found the spray very fine. I recently bought the type of sprayer you would use to do a car. I haven’t used spray cans yet which I’m sure takes a bit of practice for sure. I noticed in this video you are not too worried about overspray or the side walls. I’m painting a space scene in a school next week and I’m usually trying to find ways around using any kind of spray because when I do it seems to really travel and cover things with a fine coat which is a big problem. I’d love to add what you are doing here to my skills but not sure about the overspray situation.
Why can't artists protect the ground from drips/splatters? A good painter leaves the surrounding area clean, Mural is nice but be a pro not an amateur.
Very messy worker. Couldn’t hear much of what you said due to watching a lack of job preparation. I was taught that preparation and cleanup were the 2 most important parts of a job.
It’s an abandoned building that got demolished after painting this so no prep or cleanup needed. I usually do this on buildings in transition because you can get pretty messy. 👌 most times it’s just asking the developer about painting it before they tear it down.
The cutest sprayer I've ever seen!😚
It's the best. expensive but worth it for what im doing at the moment.
Whoa! This is major! Thanks for the advice!

They were cool with you over spraying the concrete like that?
They are demolishing that whole area and building so owners let me paint what I want until their demolition team begins
I really need this bro
Mannnnn I been studying and need one baddddd every mural except for one job I never have power for my other graco models
Thanks for the review bro! 💪
Any time!
Great info. Tnx
can you use it for a polyurathane clear coat?
I haven't tried yet because the last thing I want to do is mess the sprayer up because it was so expensive. I may have to reach out to them and ask.

Do you ever find sprayed paint on a wall is more fragile and can be scraped off?
it all depends on the wall prep. the or the most part spray paint is very durable to the elements.

@@iamdetour Thank you for the reply. I loved the art, though.
