    That is a stunning looking car. Hyundai and the Elantra have come a long, long way from their initial looks.

    Kudos to Hyundai for adding blind spot monitoring cameras! Take that Toyota and Honda! Also, ventilated front seats is reserve for Limited hybrid models.

    • @jetfuel6043

      It wouldn’t be a take that moment for Honda, considering Honda has had that feature since 2013.

      @@jetfuel6043 Yeah, but Hyundai implemented better by not having the camera operation system in the infotainment and has cameras for left and right turns, not just right turns like Honda did. And the camera quality was crappy. I know first hand. My cousin had a 2014 Honda Accord. He even complain how grainy it was, and also question the one camera signal thing, like I just bought up. He now drives a Genesis and love the technology.

    • @jetfuel6043

      @@jraheemjefcoat429 haha I think you’re over exaggerating the quality statement. I’ve owned two Honda products and one Hyundai product with the feature and the quality is much of the same even with the Hondas being older, so maybe theirs degraded over time as even some videos on UA-cam will show you the camera quality isn’t grainy

    • @jraheemjefcoat429
      @jraheemjefcoat429 Рік тому +2

      @@jetfuel6043 Over exaggerate? How’s so when it’s someone personal experience with the camera system? Like I said, Hyundai execution with the camera monitoring is way better what Honda did. And I’m sure a lot of auto journalists on UA-cam will agree with that.

    • @jetfuel6043
      @jetfuel6043 Рік тому

      @@jraheemjefcoat429 I jokingly said it but it seems you want to argue.. I owned two separate hondas with the feature over a total of 10 years and I still own one on side my hyundai sonata.. and like I said the quality is not crappy. Does hyundai get points for execution considering its on both mirrors alone? Absolutely. But that does not discredit honda for not only being first but also doing a great job!

    I have the 2023 luxury and I was super disappointed in the acceleration, but everything else is immaculate! The steering wheel and Boss speakers are what sold me on it, not to mention I have serious back issues to the point sometimes I have to stay in bed for days because it just stops working all together, this car has helped my back SO much! I had a Corolla back in 2018, it was terrible on my back but it's acceleration and safety was what sold me on the Corolla

    • @tomtalker2000

      Any difference with acceleration in sport mode...? I know my dads 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport with the 2.4 liter engine. That puts out 185hp & 178lbs torque works MUCH better when in sport mode. Especially, when you need to merge or pass someone on the highway. I agree that Hyundai dropped the ball on the acceleration and torque numbers. This vehicle should have had 160hp & 148lbs torque. That would have made a BIG difference. Or they could have turbo this current engine.

    Correction on the interior lights, they aren't led, they're just incandescent. The way you can usually tell the difference is an led will generally be a white color, while incandescent or halogen will be a more yellowish color. Also, leds can turn off and on instantly, while incandescent and halogens take a half second to fully turn on or off.

    Another good review. I drive a 23 Kia Forte gt line with the same power train. It is more than adequate for every day driving. You do have to lean on it to get off the line quicker, but it does move well once you get moving. Looked at other cars in the segment, such as civic and Corolla, and they were more expensive for comparable trims. Mpg's are also very good.
