Coldzera. This guy who was for the mayority of 2016 THE BEST PLAYER and he potentially would not be here if his father wouldn't had let him go, the whole world would've never heard of him. He was extreamly lucky, just think about all those young talents who don't get the opportunity to go play on these big international lans. The whole world would never get to hear about them and their talents would be wasted.

I wish I could see Cold's father right now. From thinking "my son left to pursue some crazy videogame dream" to see him shine the brighest, reigning supreme at the top of the Counter-strike world. Second time #1. I'm sure he smiles proudly every time he sees how far has Cold gone.

coldzera, one of the best players of CSGO, possibly in all of counter strike history, may have been held back because of his dad. it's sort of crazy to think about how many people might never play pro because they've been held back for whatever reason

Pensar que esta historia se ve repetida en las nuestras, o nos está pasando actualmente. Un chico de 15-16 años que juega a CSGO o LoL y tiene un sueño de ser profesional es opacado por sus padres que dicen: "Deja de jugar eso, no te va a dar nada en la vida" (esto es en mi caso) y tu sueño es arruinado por tus mismos padres. Al igual que tus compañeros de colegio que se burlan de ti por jugar muchísimo tiempo a un juego de PC y no jugar al fútbol o hacer deporte. Cuando le mostré este video a mi padre y madre, literalmente soltaron una lágrima y me dijieron: "La verdad, valoramos mal lo que la tecnología puede conseguir hoy en día, si esto es lo que te gusta debes ser el mejor, pero nunca abandones el estudio ni el deporte". Y simple mente me dejaron hacer lo que a mi me gusta. Gracias a la ELEAGUE por mostrar la historia de este gigante y mostrar a muchos padres que no es sólo un jueguito de computadora, es el trabajo del día de mañana.

You should watch FalleN player profile video, he dedicated himself to cs, but he never abandoned the studies. Work hard, practice a lot, but you need to have alternatives and that's what study gives to you.
This was one of the most touching player profiles I have ever seen. Especially the part with his dad and how he eventually approved it. Beautiful

This is incredible, a competitve perspective on a game, the growth of a player who's career is in front of him on a screen. This part of the community is the best. Being a nova 1 on a laptop puts me in the tormented hell that is solo queing in low elo.

Comecei a aprender faz pouco tempo, mas to começando a desmotivar. Pensei que seria mais facil, mas estudar sozinho e seguir a rotina a risca é muito dificil. Tenho assistido apenas filmes/videos em ingles, jogado em servidores americanos(no cs ta dificil dar call) e tenho feito os cursos onlines do Duolingo e Memrise que estão ajudando bastante. Meu irmão aprendeu sozinho apenas jogando, mas apesar de eu ter jogado os mesmos jogos que ele eu não aprendi ;-;
Tryhard Eu aprendi jogando desde pequeno traduzindo os objetivos e diálogos ( principalmente com metal gear solid 3 ), mas não desiste não cara, dá pra aprender sim
