Instead of using mechanical compressor better to use electric closed compressor. Best is from Toyota Prius 2005-2009 hybrid model. It has very simple compressor that works on DC 12volt.

But you have very little knowledge about Refrigeration Gas In-car Area to be cool is very less approx 9 sqf. of air volume and car engine RPM are above 3000 when car ac works well. ie above 60Km speed. of in-car low pressure gas R134A gas is used with compressor and clutch system as Engine is alway in running mode. In home room size is minimum L9'xW9XH9' = 729 sq feet volume of air to be cool and add 20% of stuff like TV, BED, Chair Alimira they disperse heat. So the 739 + 145=875 sqf volume So roughly you require 1 Ton Ac with R22 gas or R410A gas. So dear you had taken too far project but it will not work . Buy Good ac that will save you Energy bill. Note: Car compressor is of less BTU. Like 1.5T window of o-General ac is of 180000 BTU and are Rotatory compressor having life of 10Y if maintained well.

of course, the compressor need high torque & speed motor, i was planning to do it for my caravan with small power generator or with solar power.. but the issue with the motor to get high rpm 2000 & above & how much power will need.. ithink if it works till 500 watt it will be creative idea. 🙏🏼✌🏼

Bro. Use soap water and paint brush to locate leakage, like finding puncture on tyres. If its not the compressor leakage you could easily fix it

However, you can't use this set up for the room. R134a is generally used for small spaces.
my 12.000btu AC runs on r134a, plus a car AC is more btus than a home AC and it still runs r134a.
