I was actually searching online on how to prepare oha soup, so many popped up but I wasn't satisfied cus I've not seen Flo Chinyere 😊, really love your cooking. You always make cooking very easy with your unique style, we love you! ❤❤❤❤
You make cooking Oha soup fun and easy. I'm from Edo state, served in Imo state. Couldn't believe something as great as Oha soup existed not until I had a taste. I simply chose a favorite buka spot where I was eating correct eba and oha soup every morning. Thanks for the fun video tutorial
I finally made ofe owerri, but because I stay in Europe,so I used oatmeal instead of coco yam....I must confess it tastes the same.....thanks madam flo🙏
I have not cooked much with Achi and I am looking forward to buying it some day. Now back to the main course Ofe Oha. I have not had this soup in almost two decades. It was one of my favorite soups when I was in the university @ ESUT. It is best paired with Utala Akpu and that's how we eat it in Nnewi if you ask me. Flo biko can you UPS/Fedex me a plate? Your brother will be happy! Oh by the way, Flo you make cooking fun and exciting as always. Thank you so much for sharing and welcome back. Yes I have liked your video!
Your well explain video and cooking system help my relationship very well ma,am yoruba lady find love in the heart of Enugu guy....Infact thank you so much ma...Is your page I always search for to get better hygiene clean process ...

Achi juru na my cupboard oh...I don't miss it,and offor too. We call it oha in imo state. You are so so right, over dose of achi will land you in a yam porridge state, and it will seize the taste of all the ingredients used. I add Uziza to mine always. nti okporoko ohhh..... This soup will taste very fresh until you finish the last bit.
Yes o! Uziza is a must as all those following this channel bumper to bumper already know and shown in this video 👉👇 ua-cam.com/video/lW295cngeqc/v-deo.html. Hubby had already put the uziza in the freezer and I did not want to use any frozen ingredient in the demo. I managed to record this demo two days after I came back just before the oha spoilt beyond recognition. I laid in bed for 2 days straight. 😂😂
I cook well but each time I want to make soup I find myself watching ur videos cos it builds my confidence, I learn something different from wat I knw.......infact u re d best
I have watched this video before but missed the part where the achi was mixed with water before adding to this pot. Just tried this now it gave me the perfect achi and ora soup without the lumps. Thanks Aunty Flo.
I can't help but love your videos, how you cook, your positive and cheerful vibes. 😀😀😀. I'm from Anambra and we call it Ora. I love to make mine with Okazi and Uziza. I'll definitely be trying with Ora ☺☺☺
Yes o, and this was two days after I came back. I did not want to put it in the freezer because I wanted to use fresh oha for this video. And I was too tired to do this demo the day I came back. Once they wrap it well in the market 👉👇 ua-cam.com/video/38W5koL9Z2g/v-deo.html it stays fresh for a while.
To me it’s just oha soup with an alternative thickener. E no be every time ede after all (especially for people who aren’t from Anambra/Enugu and wouldn’t be inclined to use anything other than achi as thickener anyway).
Woow!! you never disappoint aunt Flooo.... 😘❤️☺️.... nothing can beat the classic taste of Oha ooooo.... case closed.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Thanks for sharing.... 😘😄
Chi Chi I liked the video when you put the Ose Nsuka. I used the same recipe to make Ogbono soup. My Aunty imported the Achi from Lagos. Very good thickener indeed.
I grew up knowing this achi o! My mum always adds achi to egusi. I have always thought that it is meant for just egusi. I'll try this method. Thanks for sharing!
Oh my my Gid I love this video. You are amazing and filled with humour.. U just made my day honestly.. Let me get to my kitchen with confidence... Hahahaha.. Thanks so much
Hi Flo, nice recipe using achi as a thicker. Don't you use uziza leaf with your oha to give it that special background flavour. I feel oha lacks if you leave the uziza out. You only need a little btw.
We call it Oza in ikwerre land rivers state. I love making it with banga. Thank you so much for your authentic recipes. I always have issues with achi and use ofor instead but this has helped me understand how to use achi.
Sis is this same as rivers native soup and what thickening powder is used for rivers native soup..is the process the same..if you can drop some tips pls I really want to cook that soup
I think it depends what part of Anambra State. As far as I know Awka people also call it ora instead of oha. But maybe that’s because Awka is quite similar to Enugu in many ways.
Chai! Thank you nne, i am currently eating my delicious achi+oya soup while commenting. I have a problem with my soup colour not looking as bright as yours, it's kinda black. What could be the possible cause? Nb* I didn't use any black pepper.

Chy, I normally put uziza leaf for flavor. I learnt it from my mom.
I do same too...very tasty
Uziza leave is better than oha for preparing achi
The “ohs” leaf still looks very fresh after the long trip. The “achi” soup looks really good and it will go so well with “akpu”.

I grew up knowing this achi o!
My mum always adds achi to egusi. I have always thought that it is meant for just egusi.
I'll try this method.
Thanks for sharing!
Best for egusi for me is ero-usu or usu as people call it. I know adding achi to egusi soup is when i run short of usu. Try it and thank me later.
Oh my my Gid I love this video. You are amazing and filled with humour.. U just made my day honestly.. Let me get to my kitchen with confidence... Hahahaha.. Thanks so much
