Love Handel's Anthems, but this is a treasure of a find. Have read where the youngsters have learned a part at very short notice, a real credit to them personally to give such a quality performance, and a credit to their tutors. A brilliant performance.

@52sport6469 It was the duet with the countertenor between 14:40 - 17:20. Daniel filled in for Mr. Christian Fliegner, a very excellent tenor, choirmaster and voice teacher of the Tölzer Knabenchor.

Un des plus beau chœur des Chandos Anthems (antiennes composées pour le Duc de Chando). Pour être précis c'est Gerhard Schmidt-Gaden, chef historique du Tölzerknabenchor, qui dirige l'ensemble.

Is the part from 14:40 - 17:20 the one that Daniel learned in one day to sing instead of the indisposed tenor??
Tölzer boy solisten: Daniel Krähmer (S) and Johannes Möhrle (A).
It's important to note that Johannes seems to be singing the tenor part AS WRITTEN, in place of Herr Fliegner! Of course, Daniel is singing the tenor part up an octave in the duet. To make things more confusing, Handel wrote 5 different versions between 1713 and 1738. This performance seems to be mainly based on the last version, which adds the fugato to the opening symphony, and the Allelujah chorus at the end, and the solo mens chorus, but Wikipedia doesn't say how the other solos were rejuggled -- something that Handel regularly did.

@@artfuldodger4850 - Well, he has looked a bit diffrent through years... from small boy to young man to a bearded 30 yo. There was a nice video on YT with him, Lischke and 2 more boys singing Drei Knaben on a Parents Day when they were 10-11 yo (now disappeared like much else). His latest solos on YT must be in the 2017 Matthäus-Passion.
