This man is a real music creator! really he dominated the entire Bolojo music genre during those blessed early 80s! May his gentle soul rest in peace AMEN But could you please help us to upload the ALANTERE and E ba mi sasaalatu topo fonise nla(Muhammed) all in 80s.
Egba Alake, you're the man. Or the woman or whatever. You're simply the best. You put my somewhat respectable music collection to shame. I don't know where you get all this stuff but Orunmila bless you greatly. You're doing an amazing service. Preserving and honoring our culture while helping to popularize it. I doff my fila to you in great respect. I've been building a collection for years and i have some great old stuff. Boy, you sure know how to come up with the good stuff. I've loved Fasco Dagama for years and i somehow managed to get about 3 of his albums and a couple of Jossy Friday as well. I haven't heard this album before but it's killing and i'm loving it. Thank you. I might need to send you some stuff that you can post on your channel. Cheers and thanks for the new uploads
Thanks a lot for your brilliant analysis, dcbiglew. This channel is just our little attempt at preserving many of our great EVERGREEN music and culture that are currently on the verge of imminent extinction if we do not take any conscious efforts.I am going to be highly delighted if I can get into some of your archives that we can all share on this platform. Thanks again and Cheers.
Egba alake, thank you so so much. I'm a typical egba-alake boy and am very indigenous, I love the style of our father Fasco Dagama. This is d type of music that makes me think well about life mks me no where I'm coming from. GOD bless you Egba-alake
We need to rally round and raise GoFundMe for EgbaAlake he is doing great job for us all. Bringing old memories to us without collecting a dime . He is a legend!!
The music is from egbado side of Ogun state and is just like religions music if people from that area didn't develop it may hard for new talented people, actually is a Long story because it involves many musicians both live and deaths, monsuru akande,Ebenezer obey,Fancy ayealamu, and fasco dagama
Excellent stuff! More grease to elbows Baba EgbaAlake. Do you happen to have Dagama's wax where he sang something about "Ogun Adubi"? I think it might have been his tribute for Murtala Muhammed in 1976/1977?
here from Nigbati Tv; OG's, national treasures....live forever!

Great work your Excellency sir
Bolojo is one lovely Yoruba music I will never stop listening to. What baffles me is why no one is willing to play this brand of music today.
@Chris adedoyi Igbokoyi, because this is hard to master. You have to be ìbílè and most singers today just stumble on the act in the Uni.
