why not just explaining in english instead of reading in arabic and than in english language and in this case one loses the concentration what is being explained.

I believe they say the Arabic first because by reciting the hadith in its original language other scholars will not change a word. Its official in Arabic and a mere translation into English. These scholars take a lot of effort to not change or innovate anything in Islam.

In traditional ways of learning, especially with a sharh - exegesis - the teacher would always read the mutun - the texts on the book - exactly how the author have wrote it.
One of the benefits is that the translation will stay true to the original texts and would deliver the message exactly was the author intended it to.
For a short clarification however, Sahih Bukhari was a compilation of all the sahih ahadith compiled by Imam Bukhari. Meanwhile this particular 40 hadiths compilation by Imam Nawawi wasn't meant to compiled all the sahih hadith but rather to tackle important aspects of what one Muslim should pay attention to. I believe Imam Zaid had explained in brief about it in the first video of this 40 hadith.
      Any questions are welcome.

@@dustyeyer3573 Isn't this the way that all non-Arabs procede when giving tasfeer? Start by reading the original arabic and then give an interpretation/translation in the local language? Wolof, Turkish, Bosnian, Malay, etc.?

Typically everyone in the audience is learning Arabic on some level (unless they already learned Arabic) so there is a lot of benefit in this. Plus the more you hear it, the more you will memorize the hadith even if it is not on purpose.
