I actually REALLY enjoyed this one!! The colors contrast each other, how stuff doesn't get too crowded or hard to see. The sheer amount of sadness lunar has when he sees sun is broken is just astounding, the expressions I all of the scenes are well drawn out, nothing looks odd or off at all. As for transitions they are surprisingly smooth!! And may I ask, what colour do you shade with? The kill code part of this is georgeous honestly I LOVE creepy things and it's hard for me to make art look terrifying, what do you suggest? And I enjoy how eclipse rays retract when he is in fear. And those hands look strikingly real! The backgrounds near the end are detailed and you added the light source AND the shading, that makes it look very appealing actually. And it's very creative that eclipse has orange tears. For the constructive criticism I suggest for lipsync maybe add a bit more of fluid- ( gtg )

This ones just an animatic so I didn't have frames, I was just drawing on Ibis paint X instead of my animating app. And to answer about the shading, I use bright yellow and dark purple to shade. But I use it on a layer with an overlay filter. So it contrasts the colors they go over. I use an airbrush to do it. Like I would glow. And to make art look scary, maybe try dull colors and wide thin smiles.

This is absolutely heartbreaking. I can only imagine what must’ve happened the moment after eclipse was separated from sun. Moon would’ve been so outraged, I fear to think of all the horrible things he must’ve said to eclipse, blaming it all on him, literally telling him that he would rather have eclipse die than sun be like this, that he wishes eclipse was never born. Internally, moon would also be blaming himself, because Sun trusted him to do the procedure correctly, and look what happened. And what makes it even more sad is thinking of the first time sun got up to do a routine performance. Moon must’ve been working day and night to try and fix him, and then sun gets up, and he thinks that it worked, he thinks his brother is back. I wonder how long it would’ve taken for it to sink in that sun isn’t reacting to anything that’s not a scripted part of the act. It must’ve been horrible to have that hope snatched away. Most of the alternate universes they visited were tragic, but this one is probably the most upsetting of all.
This animation did such a good job portraying the sad story we only got hinted at so far! I really hope we get some dedicated videos that deep dive into the nice Eclipse's tale, or that he becomes a permanent character in the show!

This was so sad but so beautiful when it comes to the animation!! Since that Moon isnt their OG Moon, and their Sun is pretty much dead. The fact Eclipse is still nice to Lunar is so sweet I think them playing together is just as much therapy for Eclipse then it is Lunar

This is so emotional it makes me want to cry. i feel sorry for those three sunny didnt deserve to go through this niether moon and eclips. No one deserves to go through this...
They are the mistakes that ours didn't make. THEY took out Eclipse and while Suns base AI is working his sentience, the things that MADE him Moons brother, are gone. He's practically dead. Then they tried to do the same thing with Kill Code, but like everyone's said it killed Moon. Backups are nice, but to a certain extent its not MOON. It's a copy that simply can't have all his intelligence. And so Eclipse is able to be reasoned with and loved, but his world is what OUR Sun and Moon avoided, just by making one decision. Scary how close we seem to be to losing our favorite celestial, or having the WRONG celestial win. They suffered so ours didn't, and that's really fucking rough.

I feel so bad for Nice Eclipse and what he has gone through in life along with his Sun and Moon, I hope things get better like if Sun recovers and hopefully Moon will feel better over time because of that. :C
