I find it hard to believe you beat this back when you were 15. You seem to be playing this game for the 1st time ever because you don't know what stars do or how to revive your energy in a round.
Theoretically I could see it. He said he beat it, but he used passcodes. So if he just practiced on Tyson over and over it wouldn't be that hard. The hardest part of Tyson IMO, is the first 1:30 when you have to dodge the uppercuts. I didn't find the patterns on Tyson to be particular hard, you just had to have a good reaction time.
For most of these games, as I get back into them, I'm doing my best to not look up anything about them. So, even though I played the heck out of them 35 years ago, there are just some things I don't quite recall. So yeah, I'll have to refresh my memory on PunchOut. It's no biggie.
Right, just a couple details I can't remember. And I think you're right, a lot of the Tyson fight is more about reflex than anything else. .....maybe someone could mod a 58 year-old version of him! :D

Actually it's really impressive. I beat it in 1 sitting without getting knocked down once.
