I love to decorate for festive occasions like Ganesh pooja, Diwali, Dusherra guru Poornima... and I always wanted to set up a quick pooja mandir that I can reuse for all these occasions at home. So I came up with this idea

I designed a quick and easy reusable pooja mandir that you can quickly set up in 5 minutes and easily store. I tried to provide a step-by-step process in this video to make this beautiful pooja mandir decor at home. If you have any questions please comment below I will be happy to respond to your queries

✔️ 🕰 Time to complete the project: Initial setup took around 3-4 hours with all the decorations. But to set up this only pooja stand next time will take less than 5 minutes.
✔️ Cost for the pooja stand - PVC pipes and woodblock with fittings: under 22$
✔️ Cost for floral decoration: under 20$
I have bought most of my material including the pipes locally in the USA. However, all things I have used can be easily found locally.
Here is the list of items that I used to make the Pooja Mandir stand
✔️ 2 - 1/2 Inch 10 feet PVC pipes ( At the home depot I got them cut to 2 feet size pipes) - www.homedepot....
✔️ 4 - shoulder fittings (1/2 inch) - www.homedepot....
✔️ 4 - 1/2 inch end/fitting caps - www.homedepot....
✔️ 4 - wood cuttings from the wood board/plank - www.homedepot....
✔️ Wood Glue - www.homedepot....
✔️ E6000 - I got mine from Joann
✔️ Gold spray paint - optional - I got mine from Joann

Hello kala poshana. What a lovely tutorial ! After watching ten times, I went to home Depot and got all the supplies. A thing to note - I couldn't find any 3 arm shoulder elbow connectors at home Depot and I live in Toronto ! They did not stock those connectors. Had to order it online from a different store. Anyway, I cannot thank you enough for making such a beautiful tutorial. For all the people whining that this is expensive- may be it is depending on your part of the world the prices and availability of certain materials might be difficult. But, for a North American centric audience, this is extremely economical. Especially, since kala poshana has used things that can be reused again and again. Kudos to her for making something so stunning and getting multiple uses out of it. Thank you so very much.

How much does this cost at home depot? I mean amazon tripod background is cheaper know
New pipe and pipe connector , spray paint , toothpick, artificial flowers and leaves. Dear you have spent so much already, new stand would have less expensive than this 😂. You are talented and you showcase it very well , no need to blame your husband for this 😀.

Ha ha, Not really new stand with all the arrangements would definetly cost double or even more than what I spent. Ha ha that was just to make a funny tag line thats all 😂. Thank you for your support.

Pooja mandir here in US like this would cost more than $200 dollars and I bet she must have spent less than $50 dollars for this project. Maybe the material used are more but not the money! So it's totally worth it. Greta idea.
If you live abroad it hard to get everything easily

Instead of comparing and talking about the prices readymade mandir and decoration in India are easy to find but I'd really say this stand idea is the best because it can be reused as many times as we want which is like worth spending only once than to spend for it on every other pooja. Decorative items can be changed for every pooja no doubt but the strong firm stand idea is really the best. Thank you so much akka for this idea.

This is really beautiful n creative too....love the way you have explained everything in details. Just one question ..in background you have used fresh green leaves, how many days will it last for. I am thinking to make for Ganapati festival.
Thank you so much for your support ritika😍😊. The leaves would stay fresh for 2-3 days. By thrid day mine started to dry out. So I would say if you are using fresh leaves make them in the night for next day pooja. Hope this helps 😊
