I have studied my post graduations from India, Australia, USA, New Zealand and China. There are many universities around the world which are much better than Shiv Nadar. But if you see around in India, how many good universities are there that are manily research based? At least this university is preparing the students to learn how to teach themselves... which will be No. 1 skill in the future, given the super paced entry of ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE and increasingly disturbing geo politics around the world. There is a famous Chinese saying... "give man a fish, you feed him for a day; teach him how to fish, you feed him for lifetime. Shiv Nadar is teaching children how to teach themselves for lifetime. It is a priceless skill, not being imparted by 99% universities, such as DU, which has static courses for decades. It is up to each child to figure out if research (R) is ram (good) or ravan (bad).
@collegereviewunfiltered As for the fee being charged by this university. It is a minimum 2.25 lakh and a maximum 3.5 lakh per semester (including residence, food, sports, clubs, etc). Which GOOD foreign university charges this little. Even the cheapest universities abroad cost way more. We, Indian, want the best in everything and want all that free. Simple solution, sit at home you'll pay nothing to anyone. BUT sitting at home is also not free.
Dear all, the students who wanted to be outside class how a professor can make them understand. Lets come to fees: 1. The quality of professors hired are better than any university in India. 2. Washroom to dinning hall are Air Conditioned and ultimate hygiene is maintained. You will get tissue paper to hand dryer in washroom which even IITs not providing. 3. 30 thousand fund for all ug students who is doing undergraduate research. Even IIT, Iisc not giving. 4. Funding for final year students. 5. Crores of rupees for events for development of students in all dimensions. 6. 24*7 medical facilities. 7. More than 300 acres campus maintained by 100 of people so students feel comfortable. 8. Less number of students so that faculty can give more attention. 9. Security for students 50 guard in one meeting. Every year shiv Nadar foundation investing 100s of cores for research and salary because fees is just 20% of expenses. Still some student is dissatisfied means either do not know the education market or not interested in academics.

Have you checked their academic grades? I feel you have to talk with serious students in place of someone you got outside the university gate.

I have studied my post graduations from India, Australia, USA, New Zealand and China. There are many universities around the world which are much better than Shiv Nadar.
But if you see around in India, how many good universities are there that are manily research based?
At least this university is preparing the students to learn how to teach themselves... which will be No. 1 skill in the future, given the super paced entry of ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE and increasingly disturbing geo politics around the world.
There is a famous Chinese saying... "give man a fish, you feed him for a day; teach him how to fish, you feed him for lifetime.
Shiv Nadar is teaching children how to teach themselves for lifetime. It is a priceless skill, not being imparted by 99% universities, such as DU, which has static courses for decades.
It is up to each child to figure out if research (R) is ram (good) or ravan (bad).

@collegereviewunfiltered As for the fee being charged by this university. It is a minimum 2.25 lakh and a maximum 3.5 lakh per semester (including residence, food, sports, clubs, etc).
Which GOOD foreign university charges this little. Even the cheapest universities abroad cost way more.
We, Indian, want the best in everything and want all that free. Simple solution, sit at home you'll pay nothing to anyone. BUT sitting at home is also not free.

Dear all, the students who wanted to be outside class how a professor can make them understand.
Lets come to fees:
1. The quality of professors hired are better than any university in India.
2. Washroom to dinning hall are Air Conditioned and ultimate hygiene is maintained. You will get tissue paper to hand dryer in washroom which even IITs not providing.
3. 30 thousand fund for all ug students who is doing undergraduate research. Even IIT, Iisc not giving.
4. Funding for final year students.
5. Crores of rupees for events for development of students in all dimensions.
6. 24*7 medical facilities.
7. More than 300 acres campus maintained by 100 of people so students feel comfortable.
8. Less number of students so that faculty can give more attention.
9. Security for students 50 guard in one meeting.
Every year shiv Nadar foundation investing 100s of cores for research and salary because fees is just 20% of expenses.
Still some student is dissatisfied means either do not know the education market or not interested in academics.
