- The months of July and August are quite harsh in terms of climate, especially in central Spain. Well, I have the solution to spend a day of water and sun without having to drive 350 km to the beach: the natural pools of the Community of Madrid and its surroundings. In this getaway we go to the ones in Aldea del Fresno, less than 45 minutes from Madrid
This small town in Madrid has a small river beach at the confluence of the Alberche and Perales rivers and offers us the possibility of enjoying a bathing area in crystal clear waters classified as "good".
There are several parking areas with a cost ranging from 2.5 on weekdays to 5 on weekends, a somewhat high price to park in an open field, although it will always be a less dangerous option to leave it on the road as many did. cars.
This river offers different areas. We opted for the farthest part of the town, where the Alberche has little flow. It is ideal for younger children to play with water safely.
In addition, it is much quieter than the bathing area that is a little higher. We went on a Saturday and there were hardly any people while the other bathing area was quite busy. In addition, here you can find several trees on the banks of the river that will give us a most pleasant shade.
In front of the bathing area there are several wooden tables for picnics and a beach bar to eat or have a cold beer. The food is extremely basic, but the place offers us a very pleasant shade and quite affordable prices.
After a short nap, we woke up to a surprise: the river flow had surprisingly increased. This unexpected flood was due to the fact that the floodgates had opened upstream, which allowed us the elderly to take a bath. Of course, you have to be careful with the little ones, since the water carries a lot of force in some places.
After resting for a little while, we pack our things for home. It has been a very fun day in which we have all enjoyed nature.

Si quiero ir con niños de 1 año y medio. Donde me recomiendas ir ? Osea en la zona de baño o en la zona mas alejada ??? Y como llego a ese lugar ??😊
A mi me gusta quedarme cerca del Kiosco azul. Tienes un sitio para comprar comida y bebida y hasta césped para tumbarte!
La zona del puente está muy chula

Molaba cuando yo era pequeño, ibamos muchos findes ahi.
Tenia un caudal muy bueno para bañarse, la ultima vez que fui, no tenia agua apenas.
Al principio de la mañana apenas, pero luego abrieron las compuertas de la presa y de pronto el agua de las rodillas te llegaba por el cuello!!! 😉👍

@@Viajandisimo Cuando yo iba de pequeño, durante el dia tenia un caudal bastante bueno para bañarte y cuando abrian las compuertas era impresionante, de bajar por unos rapidos sentados rozando el culo con el suelo, a meterte en los mismos rapidos y no tocar el fondo de pie.
Habia gente que se quedaba en islas que habia en el medio del rio atrapadas y las tenian que sacar con cuerdas.
Habra que ir algun dia de nuevo, a ver que tal esta.
