Soo excited to Unbox my first Filming Camera! Since all I had for filming before was my Nikon D5600, which had bad focus, no object tracking & caused me to edit the videos afterwards alott!
Hope this new camera helps me take better videos for yt(tho I'm no expert in filming 🤷🏻♀️😉).

can you use the camera without the lens
Honestly, I personally don't know how to answer this, so I did some research & here's what I found:
*Normally, you need a lens, at least if you want to take a photo. The camera comes with one, but it will function if you take the lens off, though not in any useful way.
The only exception is using a body cap with a small hole, making the camera a “pinhole camera”, but some will argue that you are using a lens of a sorts, as the pinhole works as a lens. So, you can use it, but you won’t get any photo, except a competelly black or completelly white image - I don’t think you can call it a “photo”.
If you are asking about if shutter can be released without lens or lens without electric contact, then answer is yes. Some of camera may requires you to navigate few menu, but you can certainly do it.
