Hey man, been a fan of your work since I found the Frozen Lakes video a few years ago. How do you decide on a battle/engagement to cover? Just whatever you find interesting/inspiring? And how do you do you make the visuals? I assume Illustrator or Photoshop?
In the early days when I didn't even have an audience I was just picking whatever I like and depending on the material I have available. Sometimes I like to upload videos for the anniversary of the battle because I know people will search for them. That's exactly what happened with my Greece and Finland videos that went viral. For now I want to try to stay consistent and finish series of videos on a campaign basis. I animate in 2D using After Effects so I create everything directly there, and for 3D animation I use Maya which is what I use for my full time job as well. Thank you for following this channel.

Underrated series. Very detailed and well researched.
Very well made video on explaining the Allied efforts on consolidating their beachhead at Utah. Good stuff.
These films are superb. Easily the best account of the Utah Beach action I've either seen or read.
Great video!
