My heart broke for carden. He didn't know a real thing in his life. Not his mother,father,siblings,friends but still never played his role as villian by killing anyone. I am so glad he got jude. Even while he was serpent he knew her. I was crying so much when he came alive. He deserved to experience the real thing for once. This makes their story so heartbreakingly fairy like yet i would never change a thing.

This just hits different with this particular song behind it due to the fact that we all know that Jude will get old, lose jer beauty and eventually die, and that Cardan knows that and still loves her for it even while knowning that he will have to live for decades afterwards with her memory. This just breaks my heart, I want someone to be like this with me ❤️😭

The cruel prince.Holly Black I recommend it, it's really good! I finished all three in a week! When you start you want to read all the time! THE characters are super different from what you thought at the beginning! Best😊
He proved himself to her. You can't help who you love and she loves him. He had an awful life and although it's no excuse he wasn't proud of it in the slightest it was just what he had been moulded into.
