Its so weird. You listen to their earliest concerts, he sounds live, full, and powerful. You listen to the mid-stages (this) from when he got sick and you hear him straining his voice and really trying. Now you hear the new BB after all the legal crap and his recovery, and now he is full of life again. Favorite band of all time
uhm I think he sounds great in this concert and his voice in the 2015 tour were awful and very weak.

Ben is still very sick. I've met him 3 times and talked to him and he says when he plays he is in constant pain but when he's playing the music helps take his mind away from it so yeah he doesn't sound as good now as back then but if you actually listen to them play live then it will sound sooooo much better then that same concert recorded

if I ever joined a band and became a lead singer/guitarist, I'd want to play like Benjamin. To me, his music isn't about mosh pits and running around, and being wild. To me, his music just requires you to listen and understand either the meaning that he wants us to see, or your own interpretation of his words. I will for forever be a Breaking Benjamin fan, not because of guitar solos, or because of his voice, but because of the music they play. I will continue to support this band until the end.
To all of you saying he sounds terrible, let's see you try to sing with a LUNG INFECTION.
The doctors told him not to do this concert but he pushed through for his fans.
Its not a lung infection, it cant be. His vocals would be way worse and his breath control with a lung infection would be non existent. He would literally be up there completely light headed and basically passing out from those screams. Plus lung infections cause mucus build up and coughing, he doesn't cough at all. He doesn't sound like he has any mucus or problem controlling his voice. I think he just overdid his vocals one day blew them out a few days before and has a cold.
As to all of which you said, i strongly agree but, it was in fact a lunch infection.

Breaking Benjamin is back and kicking ass with new music. Don't judge it is extremely hard to survive as rock and roll band these days when crappy pop and country music dominates the airwaves. If you love rock support it anyway you can!!

I dunno what people are complaining about his Vocal for this show. Sounds pretty doggone good to me. And those are not easy vocals to do night after night.

Why did he double the band?
@@claytonmorris2445 the bassist and the guitarist did the Valora edit of his song (ben does almost everything by himself) without his permission and he ended up suing them. The drummer later left due to creative differences. Ben didn't have a band and was basically done with music for about 5-6 years before he got the members we know now and then came out with the album Dark Before Dawn and they have been going strong since then.
@@fueledbypaintwater Mark and Aaron didnt actually do the valora edit, they just authorized it. Ben didnt actually start producing his own music until DBD.
I think it's also worth mentioning that Aaron and Mark didnt actually originally plan on greenlighting the valora remix, but then Hollywood records offered them $100,000, which is why they did it. They already hadn't been touring for several months, so with no source of income, they took the risk and got he $100k.

Even though his voice isn't great live, he's still amazing. The lyrics have their own story. Piece of his life. Helped me through a lotta stuff for years. But hey at 35:47 he NAILED his high notes!

+Matthew Gaffney it was actually only Mark and Aaron who were fired. Chad was actually still part of the band after the lawsuit but left after joining BLS. I wish they could have worked it out though. this line up was amazing
me to but Ben and his line up on every interview with them mark and Aaron were generally quite and they all had no chemistry but I think back then Ben wasn't really comfortable with them anyway he just had to work with them I mean sure there were some funny moments on.imterviews but still they weren't like true friends just co workers

@@julianmarquez4747 I personally dont like it, i only like 3 songs from it. Red Cold River, Blood, Tourniquet. My favorite band though. In my opinion, Dear Agony was their best album. I love Give Me A Sign, I Will Not Bow, Without You, Had Enough, What Lies Beneath, Crawl and Fade Away. If i had to list all the other songs i love by them, it would go on forever, so let me just say ALL OF THEM! Going to see them and 3DG and a couple other bands live on Sep 21! Gonna be the best night of my life. :D

Belive it or not I was eight when I first heard of these guys, I was up too late and my mom didn't know so I watched the cd of the full albums live performance. Now twelve and have been to 5 concerts and still haven't lost a bit of love for them

Im mid 50's and have been a fan of BB for years. They come from PA , pretty close to me here , so Iv know of them for over a decade. The latest CD has some great songs on it too. A little inside Bens darker side, but the passion is still there.
I actually have the phobia special edition cd that comes with this live dvd. Absolutely love blasting it on my tv while doing college homework

If your coming back to this you miss the chemistry and the sound of originality and you notice how it cant be faked or put together---- Just Saying Originality is very powerfull-- Not comparing but look at Axel Rose for example again not comparing just see some similarities here-- I am a Ben Fan but this band here had it all ...
