The new teaser today was juicy: a ton of Future-tech showcased including some sort of mass egg incubator.
Re preparing, I'm decommissioning all my bases except the Volcano 3x oil base. IMO the new island is going to be west of there so its the only spot with any hope of being within render distance.
The Refrigerated crusher has a 2x mod to work speed so Frosty>Jorm for Crusher, but like you said we have a ton of Paladium so swapping isn't going to be a big deal unless you are planning on relocating your mining base to the new island.
