Thanks everyone for your comments,this is the first Devildriver song I really got into,I think the lyrics are genius.I haven't been into a band like this in a long time,....honestly I didn't figure they would do another album,I feared everyone would pass them off as a Coalchamber spinnoff...but as luck would have it 5 years later they would deliver 2 more BADASS albums,Each one more devastating than the last...he he he (sorry if I rambled a little,Im stoned) Long Live Devildriver!!!

This song is about a man who believes that he's some kind of soldier. He thinks that he has been contacted by god and then been put on stand by. When god gives him the go ahead, the man is going to start offing people. I know that songs are up for interpretation but does my way of seeing it sound reasonable?

This is exactly why i love metal,..the songs can take on so many different paths,..all these interpretations would fit with this song.
