I haven't seen one of those for years. Growing up in Southern Oregon there used to be sawmills everywhere. These boats were called "Log Broncs" and were used for moving logs around in sawmill ponds. Wow, I had forgot all about them! (And "wigwam burners", too)....
he's the bosses son. So he is the only one that gets to drive it. Boss lets him drive the boat hoping he will drown and it is the only place he can work and not cause a fight amongst the crew. But dod loves the rascal.
He is the saw mill owner's kid. All the other employees hate him. This is the only job the kid can do where he doesn't cause trouble. He was born that way, but he is the apple of his dad's eye, and dad loves him dearly.
That little teeny (tug boat) if u can call it that…,must have an incredible small Z drive to do everything he needs to do in the Harbor that he works at?!
No that's the bosses son driving the boat. It is the only job dad can give him to keep him from getting in real trouble. All the employees of the saw mill are mad at him, and want to drive that boat sometime. but Dad does love the kid, and he does seem happy.
Well it's in water so if you just tried to push the logs with a boat your propeller would just start spinning and your boat will be stationary and the logs wouldn't be moving. The momentum is the key.
@@greego5952you are so wrong... do you think tugboats Ram into ships? No they don't. They gently press against them and apply power to their propeller..
No it's the saw mill owner's kid. It is the only job the kid can do that doesn't cause problems. all the employees hate him, but dad loves the little rascal.
Sweet! A professional bumper boat operator! I would have been stoked if i knew that was an option
I can't tell if he's really good or really bad at what he does. Adorable boat none the less lol.

Very good!
Really good bad
Bottom is actually flat, surprisingly

I really have no idea what I'm watching. But I like it😀
Can you imagine 10-15 Somali pirates on one of these bobbing up to a tanker ship in the high seas?
Yes... Yes I can, and the picture is hilarious!🤣
try it with A.I.

Well there is something else I've never seen before.., Amazing.
This looks like something donald duck would drive
That looks really fun!! I wanna ride!!!

I would love to take that for a cruise at haulover inlet.
oh my god haha that'd be so fun
You would? Wow your crazy! How would you even get it there?! I hope you dont bring kids with you! Also wear a helmet and life jacket!
You wouldn't know the seas were flat-ass-calm by watching this guy run a boat
The core strength of this guy just to stay in the seat. 10 Pack
That's a water forklift 😂
You ride'em cowboy! 😂
I imagine he wobbles around a bit when he gets back on land! 😂😂😂
Yeah true😂😂😂😂
-"Yaaaaar, still haven't got me land-legs on..."😂
That’s cool as hell 😂
Best job ever!

Making use of the local drink driver! 😂😂 gets payed by the bottle 😊
What is a "drink driver"? I have heard of a "drunk driver" but not a "drink driver". Hahaha.
@@Tinkerbell227 sorry my bad on the spelling. Blame the auto correct . Have a great day.
@@edenbridgejunction7526 I just wanted to give you some fun ribbing. No harm intended, 😁.
I would love to have that job😂
Seems like fun!
When this boat's rockin,
Don't come knockin.
That little teeny (tug boat) if u can call it that…,must have an incredible small Z drive to do everything he needs to do in the Harbor that he works at?!
looked like a tiny wee wee warrior trying to get stuff done 🤣
Reminds me of kids toy boats. Lol.
Haha we used to steal them at night the keys were always inside. Rock it until the roof it touched the water.
I gotta have one ! 😂
He must have had too much Russian vodka. Adorable little thing.
You could do a lot of damage really quick in a marina with that 😮
It’s like one of the bull rides from the Rodeo
"Eine Seefahrt die ist lustig, eine Seefahrt die ist schön ..."😁
huh.. i always thought they just used a bunch of cables, hooks and winches to move logs, this is pretty cool
Nice attraction!
I would be a menace during spring break at the Sandbar in lake Havasu with one of these things
When you work for someone else and use their machines, and don’t value your job, you get this.
Sounds like a Car Driver stepping on the Gas
Is this a Voith Schneider drive prop?
No that's the bosses son driving the boat. It is the only job dad can give him to keep him from getting in real trouble. All the employees of the saw mill are mad at him, and want to drive that boat sometime. but Dad does love the kid, and he does seem happy.
@@johngillon6969 LMAO I worked at one of those places too
@@johngillon6969 that has nothing to do with what he asked….
This boat must be Detroit Diesel engine. The noise remember.❤😊🚤🛥⚓️🎄😍👍🏻😊🙏🏻
Best regards and Mery Christmas!!❤😊
Do they have Voith-Schneider drives or how exactly does that work?
Yep at 50sec
Nautical forklift certified 🤣
perfect job for an alcoholic. boss be like "man he sure can drive that thing"

Pretty sure the boss was offsite. Like watching a moped do doughnuts in the dirt.
Boom boat we use them at manke lumber in the puget sound!
Sounds like it's got a Driptroit hidden in there!!!!!!!
Looks like the most inefficient natant that has been ever built but it still got a job. Love it.
О Это ж тот самый однопалубный кораблик из морского боя 😂
I want one this be another hustler John company
Has anyone crossed the Atlantic with such a thing yet?
No
I m on one right now, halfway across the Atlantic. Day 465.
You get a paid trip to Hawaii, 5 star hotel and everything, but you have to take the trip from mainland USA on this boat
Out here in the North West we just called them boom boats
When you just have to be a boat owner, but you've only got 50 quid, a scrap car and a lot of wood offcuts.
Two-stroke diesel or a gasoline engine? GM 6V53?
4-53 Detroit diesel.
THAT LITTLE BOAT IS A LITTLE SEA BEE 🐝 BUT IT GETS THE JOB DONE.😊
One was in Rambo first blood.
Im on a boat!
What engine is that?
Sounds like a Detroit diesel 4-53. Screaming jimmy.

Just watching that gave me motion sickness.

Is he doing bad or good>?
Funny, the next video that pops up is of a helicopter pulling one of these boats off the bottom of the lake.
What would happen if that thing actually flipped over?
Sink probably lol
Not his first rodeo!
What in the name of Poseidon is this?!
😂😂😂😂
Why not just push them?
Well it's in water so if you just tried to push the logs with a boat your propeller would just start spinning and your boat will be stationary and the logs wouldn't be moving. The momentum is the key.

I don’t get sea sick but…..
What's the point...
Burning a lot of calories to get whatever his job is done.
I feel sick just watching that.
Тот самый одноклеточный корабль из морского боя
И как часто у него перерывы? Или капитализм этого не предполагает!
