- Here are my following Ranked Matches from the previous video. I reach C5 at the end of this video.I am proud of the progress I've made thus far, but I still have ways to go! Enjoy.
Also, keep in mind the player II LaDon || whom I was facing is one of my good friends. We are used to sparring w/ one another. And YES, I was somehow matched up with him consecutively.

This Re-color/Customized Ivy Creation is indeed based off her P1 Default Costume from Soulcalibur III! Thought you guys might like to see something different than my usual Re-color of her Original SCI Attire. This was bought to my attention from a fellow watcher!

Oh yeah for sure! I'm sure you'll get the hang of him rather quickly, you have a talent in fighting games after all. I've said this multipe times and i will probably continue to do so, but i am very proud of you. You simply never dissapoint.

After watching you body everyone I dont feel so bad about loosing lol. Least I got 1 round on you lol...Your play style with Ivy makes you extremely difficult to beat regardless the skillset of the opposing player, you know what to do in every situation and u know how to put people in an uncomfortable position that benefits Ivy 100 fold!!

Glad I got the chance to play you the other day, I ended up facing UnionMagician 2 matches later. Your Raphael is hella good. Needless to say getting worked over by both you and Union made me really want to pick up a new character I feel like nightmare is just too predictable 😅 great video tho keep up the good work!

Love your Lethal Hit 3B > 66B+K combo as that's the only way I've seen that very cool move used reliably. Can't wait to get my hands on the game and see if 4B+K (? the unblockable heel explosion) is a good follow up or if recovery is too fast.
Unsolicited pointer, Ivy has an awkward mid-short range where her ranged attacks leave her open for too long on whiff. 44A (without going into embrace) is a really good poke in that situation and keeps safe pressure.

Talking about 12:25-12:29? Oh at that point he had no chance. I felt Amy would have ripped him apart from that distance to get back to a good fighting range would have been difficult for him with the little health he had left. He could've gone out fighting though.

ouuuu I'm loving the new re-color!!!
I also did a soul calibur 3 color of her outfit too although I left the silk part black of her right arm alone. IMO, the coloring scheme is better on this outfit than trying recoloring it on SC4. I can’t wait for the 2B dlc drop so I can try the Kaine outfit on her.

Not really an Xbox thing, more of how many players are available on Ranked at the time. Occasionally you get matched up w/ the same person.

I’ll be using an Alternate Costume I’ve designed for her next Ranked Session. But, for right now I’m focusing on Raphael.
You’re quite high in the ranks Amy. I’m still in the D ranks atm. It’s quite a grind fest like the last game.
Once that’s done you’ll have to do it with Raph and any other pocket characters you use and record them all. Sounds like fun, no? XD

Do you have any advice for Ivy's middle attacks? I feel like I finally got to the point where I can do her command throws consistently enough to where they are a threat, but I need to mix in some mids for people who crouch on wakeup. BBB seems like a good string but I wasnt sure about her other options in that scenario

Great games as usual, keep the vids coming! Poor Yoshi though, he looked outmatched af. In your experience, do you think this is a universal matchup problem for Yoshi against Ivy or does this particular player just not know the right way to fight her?

Ivy v Yoshi is a lot of work for Yoshi’s part tbh. His CE is a great way to punish her zoning attacks. He’s just a mix up reliant character t’where Ivy can immediately punish him if not careful. Ivy is VERY good in this installment. Her Bad MUs are characters who are overly aggressive in her face, also those who can defend against her zoning tools effectively.

@@AmyLionheartArtistry that's the part of my ivy game i'm really having to practice with and strengthen is against rush down characters been strolling vids trying to iron out which pokes and zones are better suited for where so that i can keep em off my grill fantastic vids from start to finish too

It’s much more dynamic than previous installments tbh.
@@AmyLionheartArtistry Yes, it's more fluid and she has more punishing and cunning moves up her sleeves like the move where you can grab their foot from the floor. This move is surprisingly effective against strafing opponents.

Doing LH Charged 3K w/ 6K.B isn’t max DMG. I try to go for the Max DMG Combo or 6B.[A] into SE as optional. And that was a whole combo, Ukemi trap included.
Just got the game last Friday cant wait to master this character.

U can use down+back+Holdindg B to ring them out quickly and it hit low so stand guard did not work against it 😁.

He wasn’t doing as well as he is now. Being too aggressive on Ivy isn’t always the right answer.
