Thanks for the video. You mentioned that you would get a camera with a larger sensor and I thought you were going to include it in the description. Would it be the asi178mc? Do you find it easier to view the camera output from a laptop rather than the dslr screen? Thanks

Loving the videos! I picked up a cheap second hand Nikon D5100 the other week to start dabbling in astrophotography, any suggestions on settings and what software to use for lucky imaging? With any luck I'll have some clear skies this weekend!
EDIT: Should have mentioned I have a Nexstar 6SE and 2x Barlow lens

Hello Mike an excellent video. I'm using an Orion BT100 binocular with individual lenses. After I see an image on both lenses, do I then remove one of my lenses and attach a 2X Barlow then buy a ZWO camera of choice. I'm a novice all the way and haven't been in astronomy very long. I guess I need to buy an adapter, a wireless controller and wiring to run it to my pc or laptop. Any information I would appreciate. Thanks

Yeah, DSLRs were NOT designed to run continuously, so heat was a problem.
