FYI the customer hasn't actually picked up the device yet! As soon as they do I'll update the top comment :)

Wonderful job. I’m in the process of getting my unit done for my 08 here in Canada. I had the original cloned before the soldering. It’s a lengthy process to get all this done. But, I know it will be worth it.

Well, that's like repairing old CRT TVs :-). I like it. Fixing traces and soldering a lot.

Great to see you fix something different Joey. That exact same thing (cracked solder joints) happens on the clocks of ford cmax cars and can stop the car from starting. I wish i had filmed fixing my clocks when i had trouble with my car.

What you need m8, is what us watchmakers use to clean rust and corrosion off metal and painted surfaces... something called pegwood, it is very cheap and you sharpen it like a pencil and its more robust than a q tip but less damaging to delicate surfaces, trust me you won't look back with some pegwood in your arsenal of tools.

how much do u charge for it ?
One more thing, I found that the pest way to clean water damage is actually with DDW (double distilled water) and then with 100% alcohol

Would it be easier to use a very fine paint brush for the solder mask instead of tweezer edge?.

No, because you want to waste as less material as possible
