@@wazyiscrazy My first job was a hotdog vendor. With events like this you go to an Auction and you bid on locations against a bunch of other vendors. The more prime the spot the higher the bids go of course.
I went to a Kobe Shaq game with my dad. We spent I believe 5-10 thousand on a terrible terrible location. I cant remember the other prices. But we ended up just making even money at the end of the day. (obviously we sold a TON of hotdogs)
Imagine how much money these vendors pay to have their locations. I bet in the end it all works out to around net even/slightly positive.
The people making the money are the ones running the event.
