I am a sprintcar fan, but whoever says late models dont put on a great show have rocks in their head! I used to be just sprintcars but watching these guys they consistently put on better races! Bloody awesome!

@@hotwheels9963 yeah definitely mate! Theres more to speedway than just sprint cars, and its between the late models and midgets that put on the most consistent good races compared to sprint cars
I agree with you when I tried dirt track racing I was hooked and have not went back to Asphalt
I am the only one in my family that is into late models as much as sprint car's. I keep telling everyone that they are missing out. It's hard to convince everyone when Knoxville is our home track.
@@kevinkelly5430 and not sure Knoxville is the best track for late models? One thing you need for good late model racing is big open tracks, in Australia where I come from, the tracks generally dont put on great racing for sprintcars let alone what u need for late models.

All the pierce hate yet he didnt touch Ricky in turn 4 and stayed his high line off 2. Ricky came up into him.

That was the quickest 100 lap race i ever seen and i watched it live.
Don’t see how it was a caution fest and it wasn’t fast at all took hr to get it in
Once again it has been proven there are two things you absolutely don’t want to happen to you in a late model.
You don’t want to run out of tear offs or have Bobby Pierce passing you on the inside.
lol you should've seen thornton drive a modified. there's a clip on dirt knights where there's a guy waiting on thornton to get out of his car and he wont because of how he drove.

Maybe Bobby heard about that and decided that gave him the right to push Thornton to the wall and spin Ferguson out on his way there.

I’m not against pierce or anybody else, there’s no money in or out of my pocket regardless who wins.
Pierce was doing that quite a bit early in the year. He stopped doing it and started winning races. I hope he isn’t backsliding to the old ways.
Cool to see Jimmy Owens lead some laps. Pierce is really a force this year. Awesome race between him and RTJ. Its been fun when them 2 fight for the lead.
Exactly my thoughts and clean at that. I mean Bobby could have really made a mess had he threw that slider hard but being the driver he is it all worked out in the end!

I'd love to see Lucas take over Nascar and let teams build there own cars and engines again instead of there woke agenda trying to control everything and stealing to much money from the owners!.
They'll never be able to put on a show like that because they're running asphalt

There is arguably two of the top 3 dirt race car drivers in the country in this race. Great show by RTJ and Pierce. I am glad Pierce hit the binders hard and didn't wreck the both of them. Congrats to all and amazing run from RTJ to 2nd. Amazing job to move through the field and win. WAY TO GO PIERCE!!!

@@Huntinglife41 He is already been off the porch since racing since 2006 in quarter midgets, started super late models in 2011, 2013 2nd in summer national series points and 11 wins, 2014 ump national late model champion and 16 wins with Lucas oil wins at east bay, and macon il. 2015 another ump national late model championship and 18 wins, 2016 25 wins world 100 champion, another ump late model championship, and his 1st north/south 100 win. and more to come oh yeah and more than likely add 2023 World of Outlaws Champion to that resume! And a future hall of fame candidate so has he barely gotten off the porch yet for you?

It continues to amuse me when its time for humble narrators who follow these hotshoes in their hotrods from Minnesota to Florida to pick the winner and they dont automatically choose Pierce,RTJ and the Rocket House Car. How many times do these 3 have to watch the same movie over and over and over again before it sinks in that there are 3 teams that have something the others just dont
You gotta think eventually other teams will catch on to whats being missed and get faster. I mean Overton and Davenport were such a force to be reckoned with for so long and this year its just been meh.
Overton needs to get a new car and race some smaller races to get back in the win column

Great race. I wouldn't have been nearly as nice as rtj. I woulda spun pierce out when he pushed me into the wall in 4. You can't use the whole track when your racing door to door.
