The only CBS affiliate to have aired the program at 4:00 p.m., without any tape delays, from January 6 to September 26, 1986, is Bangor, Maine's WABI-TV. They did the same thing with "Body Language" from June 4, 1984 to January 3, 1986, as well.
At 7:29, Peter would always caution players about picking up a third whammy in the first round. Elizabeth didn’t do that at first but she does now. Whenever someone has 2 whammies in the first round but still has at least one spin left, she reminds them that 4 whammies puts them out of the game.
Peter: "You have a $1600 lead and 1 spin, what is your choice?" Dave: "I got no choice, I gotta play!" Well, actually you do have a choice. I respect your decision to play the spin, but passing is also a very respectful choice too. That's far from a no doubter.
@@wschmrdr Well...here's what we're looking at before David took the final spin. You have just a bit over $1,600 of a lead, on that board, here's what we're looking at in terms of spots on the board that could really help Kent out (Besides the cash values of $2,000 and $2,500), you could be looking at a prize that could give Kent the lead for good, such as: Mexican Cruise Virgin Islands Curacao Then again, you also have to consider the $ + 1 spin options, too, especially if Kent got the big one. I think David made the wise decision to go for it, despite me still not liking the values on that particular board.
I still miss this show today. I always thought that when they got the $2000 or lose one whammy, could come in handy if they landed on the square. It was a great game show.
At 14:17 - Marla landed on her 4th consecutive whammy. To put her out of the game, The Whammy Trio (appearing with a dog: Flash), sang to the contestant, "You're Out!," which happened a second time in this episode.
Wow! I don't believe it. We got eight total whammies. Kent, you're in the same situation where Marla was. You got three whammies, $0 and five spins. You want to be very careful because one more whammy and you'll also be out of the game and then David would be the only one in the game and would have to play against the house.
Rare sighting of the Willie Nelson (?) Whammy
Shortened versions of the American Express whammy and the Willie Nelson whammy!

1600's not enough to pass. Gotta figure the average on the board, given all the extra spins, is higher.

I thought the human body had 206 bones.
This'll be on BUZZR next week. I can feel it coming.

Flash? I thought the dogs name was Fang!
Marla was an annoying contestant. Yesterday was her lucky day but today it wasn’t and that’s what she gets for being that way!
Dude, The Dog's name is Fang.
It's Fang, not Flash.
16:15 $4,775 is not $4,745 $1,220
If they did bring David back, it would have had to been in one of the unarchived September 1986 episodes…
I’m surprised that this show didn’t last as long as WOF, J! and TPIR have. But I’m very happy it’s back and Elizabeth Banks is a great host!
Aww, Marla. I hate to see you leave.
Marla hit her second and third whammys but she didn't have any money to begin with so those whammys didn't get anything

What the heck is the bonus round? He meant round 2 right?
Tim Alston I'm sure he meant Round 2...Being the New Year and acknowledging the time change, Peter gave the how-to-play as if this was Episode 1...
Last episode with the off-center/enlarged Whammy in 7 for R2
First episode to have Add-A-One in #5 instead of #7
13:15
New whammy on old version
