I personally think that the 2nd one has the lie because the dolphin story is so specific it has to be true 😂. There is no way that you and your scene partner didn’t say anything to each other before filming, like I think some more words would’ve been spoken, even if brief. And the Heathers one had some very passionate storytelling for part of it to be fake.
i feel like the dolphin one is ridiculous and would make you think it’s fake, but it might be a trick to make you think that. maybe it’s a different animal or something, that’s my guess

The last one is so funny because last night i did a show (Harry Potter and the cursed child) and my mic box got caught on something and pulled off my belt. The weight of it ripped the mic tape off my face, and the entire mic, including the wire, fell on the floor. I then had to do two scenes without a mic with loud music and sound effects on the speakers. Earlier that day, (We had this big sea saw thing for a dementor) someone was frustrated and picked one side up really fast. They hit me in the head 15 mins before the show started and the whole time I had a knot the size of a bottle cap on my head. And just to top it off, about mid-way through the second act, my pants split. What a bonkers opening night.
These are all hilarious at least in hindsight, but i think the lie is in the Heather's option. I would say the mic was ripped off but somehow a techie found their way to replace the mic, plug a new one into your pack in the blackout.... surely? Or at least Veronica should have a spare on her?

An intimacy coordinator helps everyone feel safe and comfortable. Making sure that only the people that need to be there are in the room during filming. Making sure that all actors are comfortable with each other and the material. They also do coaching as far the movements and choreography of the scene. And act as a middle person between the actors and production team. It is something that should always be done and definitely seems like it should be a no brainer to do. But since the me too movement and the countless accounts of people being assaulted or feeling they were taken advantage of or something happened that wasn't supposed to...an intimacy coordinator is an advocate to keep everyone safe and protected. If nothing else, the producers would still list him in the credits of a film currently in post-production.

I have an acting question. How are you paid as a theatre actor? Is it on a flat rate weekly schedule like any other regular job or does it depend on how many tickets you sell? Or are you paid up front when you sign the contract?
My guess is the second story has the embellishment. I think you and the other actor had more of an introduction than "Hi my name is ____", but it still wasn't nearly enough to make the shoot less awkward.
depends, most do but also most that have 2 they are physically close to each other, meaning one on the forehead and one in the hair or in a hat which JD doesnt have so if there was 2 they could have both been knocked out of place. My thinking with 2 mics is that one is broken and the second could be to far away to have picked up making it still true. IMO.
