The original game (on PC) has a slider for "Camera Shake," which allows you to turn it down or off. I imagine the developers did the same for the Switch version, and for this sequel.

I want to add ToI 1 to my must-play list, but i'm not fully convinced yet, but the fact that there will be a sequel, the game might be actually good. How is the character progress system (equipment, skills, stats)?
It’s really good, nothing confusing. There’s 3 weapon types and your shield. Swords, spears and axes, some weight more than others and make you slower in combat, there’s nice variety of character customization aswell. I love the story telling i feel like a kid getting told my favorite book story
Also there’s long range weapons like bows sorry I forgot to mention. But the game mentions it better than me. Overall it’s a really good game im happy there’s a 2nd one
The first one is great...however has one flaw voiced by many and thats the squeaking everytime a mouse/rat talks. They went with a toddler with a flute route mixed with very bad whisting/bird calls. Doesn't bother everyone but bothers enough. From my experience it went from "ok interesting choice" to "dear god make it stop" real quick. Also my dog would leave the room if he heard this game, I'm not kidding. Literally everything else is great about the game though. Hope they made an option for no "speech noise" in this or really dialed it back.

You should definitely try. It turns better and better by time. Bought it on Switch some months ago, it's a funny little souls like. You get through within 15 hours, but it is really good, especially after the tutorial.
