The new trailer for Dune Prophecy gives us a look at what's to come in episode 4. I breakdown the trailer and give you my theories and predictions for the next episode. Stay tuned for my mid-season review which should be arriving in the next day or so.
Desmond literally said "Shai Hulud took my eye and gave me another." What if his right eye is surgically a microwave weapon or nanobot delivery system?
Hmmm no because that would infer a directional energy weapon It wouldn’t provide the answer for the Sister dying as well at the same time So if just a ghola maybe nanotechnology
I’ve read 4 out of 6 books of the series in high school (00s)….its worth the read but more of the lore comes with the graphic illustration novels later in the Dune universe…. The prophecy of Lila and this totally new back story is NEW so I can say it taps into old folk-lore of original books but coming to the conclusion Lila is the prophecy the sisterhood created with forbidden technology….
I think Thula is Lila's mother, and kaybe Orry her father repeating 10K yea4s early, Pauls heritage story. That's why her mother wasn't there when Lila met her ancestors. I think Lila understands some level that those who should be closest to her led her to prematurely attempt the agony with lies and that knowledge is what drove her into her catatonic state. Lila is also the one born of spice. That's just my take.
Keiren would be about 45 years old, then. But spice increases lifespan, so maybe he's a user. It's more likely the boy was Keirens dad. Or Tula is his mom? Small universe...
I know we are going to see what happened to Desmond on Arrakis and I am 100% sure the prophecy is about him. Spice can be used for multiple purposes and its effects on people can be different. Just because Tula is trying to save Lila with a certain amount of spice, doesn't mean Lila is the one in the prophecy. Also, there's more to what Raquella said: Raquella: "The key to the reckoning is one born twice. Once in blood, once in spice" Tula: "One born twice. Who is that?" Raquella: "A revenant full of scars. A weapon born on war on a path too short" In episode 1, Raquella saw the Sandworm devouring the Sisterhood's school and burning people. So far we know Desmond has been "eaten" by Shai-hulud and we can assume he was exposed to spice. The way he burns people is exactly like Raquella predicted. Desmond can also be "the revenant full of scars", because scars can be both physical and emotional and it's pretty clear Desmond deeply hates the Sisterhood for a reason that we don't know yet.
Des was shat out by a worm he was bathed in spice. I think that gave him the ability he has. I don't think it's some technology. Just my opinion. Thank you for the video.
Kieran is to young to be the adolescent Atreides in Tulas flashback, could be his father. As for Tulia I couldn't help but see a similarity in Ynez and Kieran; an Atreides said to Tula we do what has to be done, and here is Kieran saying to Ynez sometimes you have to burn it down. 🤔 100% on everything else.
I love the series!! Super please with it. Besides nitpicking small things, which I don’t, I have a problem with anyone but Frenmen calling the worms Shai-Hulu’s or “The Maker”. These terms were all part of the BG propaganda and would only be used by the Frenmen. Everyone else would refer to them as the “Giant Sandworms” or the Spice Worms.
In my view it is not "Denis Villeneuve's Dune-Universe" but "Brian Herbert's and Michael J. Anderson's Dune-Universe" Denis Villeneuve's Films is based on Frank Herbert's Dune.
princess ynez - keiran atreides & constatine carrino are the most boring characters and need to be cut. even empress natalya could go…. ALSO: i feel like brian herbert is to HBO what simon tolkien is to Amazon Prime.

@@tubebunbun microwave weapon is a good idea.

But he used it in the sister who was the en on the same planet.
No really, my ophthalmologist is a sand worm, she's great!
@@fmaries7000 good point.
And with no delay. Lightspeed is still a valid fact in dune universe.
Maybe Shai Hulud created Desmond because the Maker understood and expected Paul in the future and MADE Desmond to help the Paul Atreides timeline
No
Read the books
Shai Hulud doesn’t create anything
the prophecy is about Lila
I think so too.
Agreed..
I think it's about the Kwizats Haderach. They'll see it and think he's the goal, instead he'll be the warning. They'll misinterpret it.

Love your updates! Just realized I wasn’t subscribed yet and went ahead and fixed it! Cheers 🍻
Welcome aboard! Thank you, I really appreciate it 😊
With the 30 year difference between flashbacks and the present, I find it far more likely that Keiran is the son of the Atreides Tulla let live.
Very likely, that is true. I do think we are gonna learn something more about him regardless
Kieran Atreides, son of Albert Atreides...
Tight timeline
Keiren would be about 45 years old, then. But spice increases lifespan, so maybe he's a user. It's more likely the boy was Keirens dad. Or Tula is his mom? Small universe...
Hope we get to see Tleilaxu since they're supposed to be dwarvish and inhuman looking.

Desmond is a thinking machine.

Since Valya is from Valentina (a east slavic rendering of the name VALENS), then EVGENI should be EV-Gheh-Nee
Kieran cannot be Albert because he would have to be older in the present timeline. He was still a boy when Tula was a young woman but still
Kieran is to young to be the adolescent Atreides in Tulas flashback, could be his father. I hat if twice born also refers to reverence mother status?!
They're using Rossack poison, not the water of life
@ well after episode 4, I wasn’t far off.

Yep, and that sister who talked about the Maker with religious meaning was weird, too. Sisters don't believe their own propaganda.

That was 30 years ago?? That will make Atreides swordsman in his 40s ?? Is your maths correct ??

I think they flopped the adaptation... damn it cant they do it right for once...

Hahaha. Even in Dune the Emperor isn’t above the law. 🤦♀️
No subtitle 😩
It's currently loading, just give it an hour or so and you'll see them.

Nope.
The princess and atreides are the bad parts of this series which is why episode 3 was good.
EP03 was the worst so far IMO
