If Stagecoach London bought Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TLs with Voith gearboxes, Stagecoach London bus route with the most hoover from Volvo B7TL Alexander ALX400s would have been 145.
Now THIS was click bait. xD I forgot that the early 2004s are literally the ONLY Voiths Arriva own, but too bad I only realised AFTER I clicked. 😂 Nice cooling fan, but a load of rattling too! Hm - you say you have a longer video on the Route 176 which you *dread* to edit? :P
yep it was recorded almost exactly a year ago up to a raw 15 minutes, ever since I dreaded editing it. VLA56-73 will always be in my memories as the only Voith VLAs in London as well as being 'unique' to the ZF models in the same garage. As well as the last remaining batch of VLAs for South once the 176 goes to Go-Ahead.
I wish these VLAs would stray... ; _ ; Hey, I upload 20 minute videos sometimes. You can do better than that, LondonBuses2. xD GN04s in Kent also seem to be Voith.
I wish my VLAs didn't have to go to 123 or be sold, but, reality is harsh. I did say I wouldn't want to make videos too long for both the viewers and me, exception being constant kickdown or thrash, if not that then it's a pass :P which is why I struggle to come to a decent decision with VLA75. And yup those GN04s are, thrashed to bits from what I've seen.
LondonBuses2 Are these the 54s you are on about? Idk what's happened to those VLAs of Ns since. Oh yeah, I forgot about the importance of your video length. :P I hope this doesn't spoil anything, but am I correctly supposing that VLA75 has quite a bit of kickdown then? ;) Ye, Sapphire Route 700 floors everything. And now for incoming MMCs - I want to film one so bad but I need a travel buddy to go to Chatham or I'm not allowed. ._.
Nope, just a bit of 176ness. I also don't quite value them as they're Tottenham (AR) origin, came to replace some N origin 05reg VLAs. I don't ever venture out of my London territory, because money.
