Hey I got a pony with giantism it's not giant (of course) I'm just confused what they mean does it actually affect size or is it like genetics? (Terrible question sorry)

If a horse has giantism or dwarfism it is smaller or taller by 2% so it's barely noticeable and it is a trait that can be passed on to foals
